Stardust, I thought I read that too (30 mins after midnight PST), but the lady on the glamalidol twitter mentioned Adam performing "this evening." As I write this, it's 2:22 PM Sunday in Shanghai. Perhaps the Glamway event will start late afternoon, early evening, to allow Adam to give them a full show. I hope he sings Can't Let You Go like he did in Canada. What a treat that would be. I don't remember him singing "Can't Let you Go" except in sound check. Not sure of the time. |

What does everyone else get when they type in Adam Lambert into Amazon? Or Adam Lambert Trespassing?
With just AL I got BFM first and a couple more times on the page and James Durbin at #15 ??? No Trespassing anywhere.
With Trespassing it was BFM #1 and Trespassing #2
I think they have evil powers and we need to work on a voodoo doll.

So I've been listening to "Better" for a couple of days now and it is ear wormy and good mid-tempo pop. I'm not a huge pop fan but do selectively like some Top 40 songs from various artists. I profess no insight as to what will and won't sell in that fickle market but this seems like it will have as much chance as anything and I am sure it will pretty quickly hit regular rotation on Oz top 40 who still play his previous singles quite frequently. I saw Nova tweeting about it so that bodes well.
His voice is lovely on the song and as others have noted the harmonies in the last part of the song are quite gorgeous and complex. Also nice is the combination of the almost delicate piano melody underlay behind the "heart-beat" style drums. So despite the tendency of producers to over engineer the shit out of songs right now there is some restraint here and the song is better for it.

jamie, in Amazon I did this: Search: choose "MP3 downloads" In the next field: type "Adam Lambert Better Than I Know Myself" The Single info appears or Search: choose "MP3 downloads" In the next field type: "Adam Lambert Trespassing" The Album info appears (Deluxe and regular versions) Hope this helps. And yes, Beg for Money is there too but ignore..

The album info is listed
I don't know how to obtain the chart ranking info though..

I was more concerned about casual fans looking for his new album and just typing in Adam Lambert and there's no Trespassing to be found. Hope it works itself out the more people buy. I'm just confused as to how you can type in trespassing and bfm shows up instead and was wondering if it was just me. |
