Have you ever gone to translate.google.com and used the sound button to listen to whatever it is you are trying to translate? If you chose Chinese and type in 'xie xie' then go to the bottom right of the box and click the sound icon you get something that sounds like 'zheeuh zheeuh'. That is misleading as it is being pronounced as English words , like you would pronounce Xanadu. It is not pronounced in Mandarin. To hear the Mandarin pronunciation, you go to the drop box above that, and choose Chinese. Then once the format is changed, you can now hear the Mandarin pronunciation. Hee! I learn new stuff every day here! ;D Ok, just out of curiousity, if I wanted to hear - say Cantonese - can I do that too, or do most tranlation programs assume that if I ask for something in Chinese I must want it only in Mandarin? |

Is Adam flying back to the LA day after his Shanghai Performance? Is he performing on the X-factor finale ? If he is part of the X-Factor finale, the performance may have been taped. Other finale performances were taped. X-Factor said they had some surprises, so I guess anything is possible but I am not holding my breath. ----- Band for the Glamway show was -- Tommy, Isaac and Jeremy Nelson. Cam was not there, she is back home in Texas. ETA: corrected ----- Regarding the Glamway set list - I think there was photos of Adam with blue lighting sitting on a stool. That would say there was at least one slow song. |

What time signature is BTIKM? 4/4 at about 80-82 beats per minute. The chord chart previously seems accurate but I hear more complexity than is noted there. Gonna have to try it on my piano to tell for sure. Will Adam need to lower the key to sing this live? I love FYE album version, but it didn't translate well live. |

I changed the drop box to Chinese and chose phonetic typing. The program changed 'xie xie' to characters and translated to English as 'write'. I, of course, have no idea if that is correct. I will be careful though, this can turn into the kind of translating situation where you think you are asking for the direction to the library and are really suggesting something much different.  :-[ |

Please tell me it is all good. If I had hired Adam to do an hour set, paid him a bucketload of cash, and paid to fly him half way around the world and he did just four songs, none of them his big hits or covers, I would be more than pissed. I would be filing a law suit. Please tell me not to angst. It is not my style, and there is too much wonderful stuff lately. Talk me down, Plz. I don't know why people are angsting over something we don't know? Remember the Moscow show when, from the tweets, we thought the show was soundcheck? Wut? That wasn't soundcheck?? ;D |
