Adam Reveals "Better Than I Know Myself" & Trespassing Release Dates

Adam Lambert is back with a vengeance! Yesterday the pop star tweeted the cover art and a 30 second snippet of his highly anticipated new single "Better Than I Know Myself." Not only that, Adam revealed that fans can download the single this Tuesday December 20th from all digital providers.

Adam also announced that his new album, Trespassing, will be available everywhere March 20th. Fans can pre-order Trespassing exclusively at Adamofficial.com on Monday December 19th. Fans who pre-order from Adam's Site will receive "Better Than I Know Myself" as a free download when the song is released on Tuesday December 20th.

You can also preorder Trespassing on Amazon.

Right, two points that help this song seem brilliant:

1. It actually is brilliant in a overwrought sad-at-Christmas falling-to-knees-pleading-to-the-skies sort of way.

2. We've heard the rest of the album, which means we know the unexpectedly downbeat clatter of 'Better Than I Know Myself' is NO REASON TO PANIC because there are lots of bits on the rest of the album that are of the 'big explosive electronic pop epic' variety.

Does anyone know if Sauli ever saw Adam in one of his GNT concerts?

I assumed he went to the one in Helsinki, but never saw anyone mention that he did. Perhaps he saw him in Paris?

Would have loved to know what he thought after he saw that, but that's probably something we'll never know...

The Times article made me purely gleeful for Adam. Great press.

I'm learning to love BTIKM. I am not a pop music fan really. And the new R&B does nothing for me. Fortunately this new song has Adam's amazing voice, and even layers of Adam in the background. I do think this song will be big. Lots of buzz is being generated. DJ's are excited, it's getting great reviews. Good for Adam. He has broken into the pop scene no question about it, with this song.

Sauli met Adam after the Helsinki concert and did not see Adam there. He saw Adam in concert later -- in Milan I believe. I am sure someone else will remember.

ETA: The Milan GNT was a rumor and is not confirmed.

Thanks for the Sauli info - just find their story fun to follow.

I know a lot of people like the verses in BTIKMS, and I do too; but I am finding that it is that soaring, gorgeous chorus that slays me every time. And there is simply no other singer out there that could pull off those glory notes.
