I got the concert last night just before Adam's set was introduced.. a few observations:
1. The concert wasn't well promoted. I had the $50 section 113 ticket from Goldstar for the 40-minute concert. Apparently the organizer decided to let everyone to the floor so there was virtually no one sitting in their regular section. I feel bad for those folks paid VIP pricing for the floor seating but I could understand why the seating plan changed. The socially-distant seating does not look well TV. I could feel a lot better energy when surrounded by people, Covid danger aside. I saw virtually no one wearing a mask.
2. This crowd I saw were much younger and mostly male (aka gay). They were singing along to the big hits so it wasn't just a 'festival crowd' that just came upon Adam's set. It was definitely very different than your typical Adam Lambert concert, which attracts much older and female fans.
3. The audio sound quality from the stadium speakers wasn't very good from the stage. I can hear the individual instruments a lot better when I got home to hear the recorded stream. On the other hand, Adam must had a good audio engineer as the sound was crystal clear, especially compared to other artists at the same event.
p.s. I can't help but suspect someone in the organizing team is losing a lot of money on this show. I doubted the wisdom of having a 3-day concert event of mostly gay artists which most people are not familiar with. It must cost a big fortune to rent out a stadium, even for small section.

With a lot of venues going unused, maybe they got a nice discount to rent the place. With many still not vaccinated and others unwilling to get back in the concert mode just yet, I doubt they were expecting to fill up the place and with mostly unknown talent performing. But Stonewall probably made it more meaningful and appropriate that you use and promote LGBT talent. Social distancing may have been the goal but in a concert situation, people are going to be on the move if they can get closer. I hope those in attendance had a good time and enjoyed the show. But I think there is a reason why a lot of pride events use talent that may not always be LGBT artists to headline. There are not that many who are well known and successful and they need to draw a crowd. And even some of those LGBT artists who are high profile may not be open to headlining these events. Adam has headlined a few successful ones in the US. So sorry that his opportunity to headline one in the UK was upstaged by the pandemic. My guess is he will get another opportunity when things are a lot better.

Was Adam the curator for all 3 days, or just for Sunday?
I have no idea who made $$ or didn't, but the exposure for any artist that isn't well known yet would have been amazing. Kudos to those organizers that gave them that chance and that experience.

Adam mentioned some big views number for Twitch streaming during his preshow interview(he said 2 mil? For the first two nights), so I hope that in fact is the case. As far as attendance - I am not sure what to expect given the crazy times we are in. I am happy to hear the crowd was mostly young gay men which probably made it extra fun for Adam. Hope most of the non masked crowd was vaccinated though. did You enjoy the experience? eta: 4.6 Million viewers on Twitch!!!! (See my post below)

There was that "other" Pride Month concert that had some major names in it. Don't remember where or when it was, or if it's happened yet. Sorry. But it's true that "gay" events don't have to feature only gay artists. It does help to sell tickets when people are familiar with the performers. But the Stonewall one was focused on a major socially important event, which has its own historical significance and mystique. So I think choosing gay artists, well-known or not, was appropriate.
jason90405, thanks or the first-hand report. It's good to know that Adam performed for a different sort of crowd, a crowd that knew him and his music and seemed very happy to be there. It is a pain to have to deal with the distancing issue, even though people don't all abide by it, esp. at a concert. Adam was really in his element and delivered the goods 100%.
He is damn good at emceeing events. He's smooth and entertaining and comes across as sincere and smart and just darn nice. It looked to me like everyone was having a good time.

And as for issues with the sound, I think I can count on one hand the number of concerts I've been to that DIDN'T have sound issues. LOL

(See my post below) Definitely loved it.. especially being in the crowd after a year and half! Good time came by quickly. When Adam said "I have one more song", I was like... "That's it?" Then it was only when I got home and checked the recording, the 40 minutes went by real quickly!
