Two comments for me. First of all, when I see something like that I just feel so badly for the homeless. Can you imagine what it must be like to have no place to find a cover.
I actually usually enjoy thunderstorms. We lived in Toronto when I was a child in a big old home with a big open veranda. When there was a storm with lots of lightning and thunder we were going to sit out with mom on the veranda and she would talk about the rain being a little soldiers dancing on the street and then we would count the seconds between the lightning and the thunder. She always used to tell us that the only time we had to even be a bit concerned was when the thunder and lightning came at the same time. Mind you when it came at the same time that was a bit frightening but my memories for the most part of storms is one of of comfort and and excitement.
I am glad for that...very lucky. Pets, especially dogs, are understandably terrified...that vid is pretty scary for sure

mszueWell, when lightning and thunder are at the same time, it’s too late. 3 seconds between lightning and thunder means it’s 1 km away. It can easily struck at your place next. So make sure, you’re in a safe place. I don’t think this weather is a problem for the homeless in Germany. We don’t have as many. In Berlin there are the most, about 2000 during the winter, scattered around the city. They became more with the EU expansion to the East a few years ago, because they are better cared for here than in Eastern Europe. During the summer time they are less, because many go back to their countries during the warm times. Most homeless take shelter in (Underground) stations or during the winter at homeless assistance centers or the Station Mission. Still, I don’t want to swap with them.

I am really enjoying watching Adam at these parties. He is really in his "element." Out and proud and having fun with the world of people he loves. He is a real chameleon. He can be mainstream and conservative as well as crazy "out-there" when the occasion calls for it. Everybody seems to love him, which says a lot about who he is inside regardless of what he is wearing. He just seamlessly moves from social group to social group with ease, knowing how to handle himself using his best instincts. He is really one-of-a-kind.
Love that 13eth painting above! So moody.

Some of the more "out there" events he's been attending lately kind of remind me of a more grown up version of his club days.

I think he always have a large circle of friends throughout his life. Good true friends come in handy as careers take their swings up and down. He is still very close to many of his pre-Idol friends. That's a good thing, IMO. And he'll always be "out there" whenever the spirit moves him.
