In and out but after Q3's "happy hannukah, y'all" I just had to tell my quick Hebrew-in-Texas story! My husband and I hired a really awesome Honky-Tonk band for our wedding a couple of years ago. (the lead singer had this fantastic sexy cowboy thing goin on, but I digress...). He asked us if we had any particular requests, so we mentioned a couple of country songs we like, and then, it being a Jew-ish wedding, Hava Nagila, the traditional Jewish wedding dance. Well we didn't give him much noticed and he emailed back saying he could do the first two but didn't know that other one--fair enough. On the night of the wedding, he asked our crowd if they had any requests. My husbands aunt shouted out "Hava Nagila!!!". Totally straight-faced, without irony, he said, apologetically, "I'm sorry, we don't know "Have a Tequila.".  His Hebrew may be questionable but his google-translation skills from Hebrew to Texan are first rate! ;D So I heartily second Q3's happy hannukah, y'all! To all readers of the Vocal Masterclass thread. It appears I have been neglecting you recently. When anyone posts to that thread, I am supposed to get an automatic email notification so I can check it out and respond. But, for the last month or so, the notification feature has stopped functioning it seems, so I just assumed the thread was inactive. My bad. I will make sure I check it daily in the future. Just for fun, I posted a cover of BTIKM there, and am asking for comments about how the voice sounds in comparison to Adam's. I think it would be interesting to know how different people viscerally respond to the differences in the tones of the two voices. Seriously lyrics like "I've got passion in my pants and I'm not afraid to show it..." who the hell writes this garbage. urgh   Just trying to get caught up on yesterday's thread and had to bring this vid over again! This JamieGlambert person makes great fan vids, and yes... I actually like this song as long as I'm watching this!!! But, I have a question... can anyone tell me what performance was happening in the first 2-3 seconds? Here's a screencap, but it's all blurry cause the action was so fast...  |

Seoulmate That was Adam's performance in Heaven,London April 2010...I know because I was there...first time seeing him sing live ! This photo that seoulmate posted is not from Heaven. He was wearing the same clothes in Heaven but this was not in Heaven. It was from a morning show in the UK, called GMTV, I think it's popular in the UK so you probably know it, I don't for sure!.
