That's not the way the media works. If "they" want to cover the arrest, that's what they'll cover. Period. They'll cut out any music plugs because it doesn't fit into their agenda. The media goes out to get enough seconds to fill the story they've already written and plugged into their broadcast/site. Moreover, there are only so many seconds or sound bytes he'll be given and if he has to spend them defending himself against drunken brawler accusations or sly questions about being a sobbing gay man, then he's not pimping his music, he's talking about his personal life. That's being a celebrity for the sake of a personal life, not being a musician. The only thing that's perfect about this timing is that it's coming right as everything shuts down for Christmas, so hopefully radio programmers and others will not be paying too much attention. As a fan, I have to say that personally, I find drunken fighting completely unattractive. all that matters is the NAME IN THE PRESS. PERIOD. We've seen that time and time again. This is a totally "harmless" event and the more it is covered the better IMO. Some will mention the new music coming out, some will not. But ALL of it is A NET GAIN. WIN!!! WIN!!!! WIN!!!

Adam crying, exhausted, jet lagged , drunk in another country, there to meet the parents and then this.I'm totally upset for Adam.. He was/is in a vulnerable position. Not in his own territory ,not in control. I completely agree with you.

Am I the only person here thinking that this is a HUGE WIN???? I really don't understand the angsting.... It is all great for promoting new music. It is great for the cred, especially with the younger crowd (unfortunately) and may be they will decide to drink a little less .... I'm still laughing at the "drunken hugging". I can see it in my head. Lovers, partners, married folks argue. Luckily, most of us don't have our stupid plastered all over the net. Peeps need to take off their pearls.

There is such a thing as bad press. I've dealt with it and apparently you have not. We'll agree to disagree.

It means "forgive the fuss" or "forgive the hassle" (he's sorry for the hassle) Although the thought of Adam in handcuffs is kinda hawt... Wut? Unfortunately, don't have a pic of Adam handcuffed to bed. Sweet sexy boy is having fun with handcuffs here, though.

A world wide shutupPerez trend would be nice
And Sauli has missed his calling - he should be a media consultant
