40 pages. Wow, what a roller coaster ride Adam gives us. Not gonna comment on the incident. Don't know much of anything due to the combination of the press game of telephone to gain hits on their site, and the speculation/gossip/imagining in the twitterverse and beyond. I'm gonna go with Adam's word that there was a lesson learned and he and Sauli are recovering and laughing. I am gonna go with Sauli's word that love is eternal.
What I wanted to comment on was the reactions of our community here at ATop. I am damned impressed with us! We have been able to maintain a civil, articulate, diverse discussion here today without feuding, namecalling, or demeaning. I see much respect for the opinions and reactions of others.
How we each react to this "news" story depends on what we read, what our personal image is of Adam, and to a lesser degree, Sauli, what we have experienced with friends and loved ones who drink to excess, what we have experienced with getting drunk or losing control ourselves. We each come from a unique perspective. That we are able to come here among friends to process, vent, worry, celebrate, support and comfort is a wonderful gift from everyone here on the thread. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen.
And to the new members delurking in the last couple of days, I hope you appreciate the candor, civility, humor, intellect, and Adam stanning you find here. This is a great place to play.

Okay, I have finally caught up this morning reading today's thread in chronological order and have a couple of thoughts: Seems like everyone is blaming just Adam for this. I've got to tell you, I LOVE A&S together and when I was learning about Sauli at the beginning I HAVE CAUGHT MYSELF BEING "JEALOUS OF NICCO" because I didn't want anyone to be more special than Adam for Sauli ( irrational - I know- this whole obsession is irrationa LOL ) I'm sure they've discussed the Adam/Kris - Sauli/Nicco bromances. Sauli may not be guilty of anything, but if you have a jealous boyfriend and your with someone you've had a "bromance" with, you might take care to give him NO REASON to feel jealous. WE DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. It is just a guess at best so I, for one, am not going to be so quick to just say how stupid jealous Adam was and how lucky he is to have such a great guy as Sauli. Sauli is human, too and may have been drunker than Adam from what I've read. KEEP IN MIND - I LOVE THE FAIRY TALE OF ADAM AND SAULI AND HOPE THIS IS NOTHING. (I am NOT Sauli bashing, just want to give Adam some benefit of the doubt here, too) When I realized that the fight was between the 2 of them, I felt so sad. Seriously, over-invested. Another thing. The drunkest I've ever been was after an audit I was doing, in December - years ago. I was exhausted. Burning the candle at both ends etc. We went out to celebrate, WITH THE CLIENTS. After a couple of hard drinks on an empty stomach I was wasted! (the client was pretty bad off too, so no professional repercussions, thank God!) It was embarassing!!! My point is, sometimes you can't handle the amount of alcohol you THINK you're okay with. These guys were both exhausted. We had tweets from both of them that they couldn't sleep, and couldn't catch up. I'm not signing either of them up for AA based on last night. YMMV I don't think this incident, publicity-wise, is going to be a big deal. Personally, it may be more serious than we think or it may have been blown way out of proportion. If it is serious - we'll probably figure it out eventually, but most likely we'll never really do anything but speculate. ETA: Also, just want to say, no one that has commented said anything about Adam being jealous. That seems to be PURE SPECULATION from the fans. ETS: Changed Ricco to Nicco - my bad

For my own sanity, my number one rule of stanning Adam Lambert is.... never read the comments.

LOL to have seen beginning before I hit that sack last night and now cruised through the subsequent pages.
Too use Adam's equation methodology.
Adam + Jail = publicity + Street Cred x new single = win.
Only those involved know what happened (and sounds like they might be a bit fuzzy on the facts as well). We've all (well most of us) done stupid shit drunk, most of us just have the luxury of being able to do it in private because no one would care enough about us to call the cops or the media. I'll put my hand up for being thrown in jail for a few hours for being drunk when I was 16 (police called my dad - it was a country town but still ouch).
He's a grown ass man who can make good and bad decisions like the rest of us, but he has a long way to go before he even begins to register on the "rock star" bad behavior meter.

IMO Adam will now gain more fans, especially younger fans who can sure relate and men who can totally relate.. I'd be sad the world we live in if he gained fans for getting drunk and arrested. Glorifying bad social behavior or making excuses for it is part of the problem we have as a society. Adam made a mistake and has acknowledged that mistake. That's all I as a fan and fellow human being can ask for from him. We can agree to disagree.Let's leave it at that

We all have a different way to handle things. And speaking of the incident, will help us get over it. We come up with all sorts of explanations, often transforming the matter, or belittling the matter, especially when we do not really know exactly what has happened. In this case, I believe only the information which publishes the official source (the official investigation of the administrator). I also believe/hope that A & S will somehow publicly commented on what happened... maybe...
