Happy Winter Solstice to all the Pagans here.   Because Adam is into this kind of thing....if my brain isn't too fried didn't the kerfuffle happen around this time? So continuing with this theme the dark days are over and here comes the sun. On the east coast of the U.S., the solstice happened at 12:30 a.m. today, Dec. 22. That means today is the shortest day of the year, and winter has officially begun.It’s a dark day, certainly, but you can take some comfort in knowing that the days will start lengthening now until the summer solstice on June 21.
And thank the gods there are no pics/video! It's a Christmas miracle. This story would have much longer legs with visuals and I'm so happy Adam and Sauli don't have to have this image in their heads. |

Two thoughts -- 1. How is this a leak? 2. Yesterday there was a discussion that Interscope might be releasing Madonna's album at the same time as Adam's to beat Sony. I doubted that. BUT I do believe this might have been inspired by RCA's online promotion of BTW over the Christmas break. ETA: Jamie -- I love that photo and it was almost today's banner photo -- but then I switch to the more Adameque Aurora Borealis. |

Oh, and I think I may love Toby Knapp. Yes - me too. Are there really press people signed up as fans here at Atop? How do we know that? If so, I hope they don't just use the quotes that are scolding Adam over and over again but quote some supportive posts as well. I don't know whether press peeps are registered or not. Couple of Finnish news sources: www.seiska.fi/viihdeuutiset/_a282053/adamin+ja+saulin+raju+nyrkkitappelu++tassa+syy/ This article says: "According to the information received by Seiska, the reason for the fight was traditional jealousness, which involved third parties" They also had a direct quote from someone:"Adam did not like it that Sauli spoke with other men. That started the argument between Adam and Sauli, which led to some pushing. Finally the situation led to a real fistfight." I saw something on this somewhere else as well, but so much has been written on this in the Finnish media that finding it would probably take along time. Note though that this magazine is a real tabloid. I would take this with grain of salt. Seiska is the worst in everything. I wouldn't believe anything they say as a "truth". I just saw their video that said "Adam abused Sauli". This is not going to sounds good |

This morning when I read this story my gut reaction was WTF Adam? This reaction is based on personal experience with people who drink too much, fight too much and generally act like douches when they are drinking. Funny how our own life experiences can impact how we respond to stories that have absolutely no impact on our own lives...... As the day has worn on and I have had time to process it I'm not nearly as put off as I was. I still don't agree with public drunkenness and I'll never agree that going to jail are "good" but I do see how this can add to Adam's "street cred" as a pop star/bad boy. I'm not the least bit worried about Adam either privately or professionally. He's got a good head on his shoulders and a lot of support from both family and friends. I think this will be a valuable life lesson for him and he'll be better than ever because of it. 4Msrmyn, anyone who would call you old and/or fat is a jackass. I've been called the same thing and I just laugh at them because anyone throwing around those insults online is probably older and fatter than we are  You're quite the woman to rethink and share with us.. I think i love you! |

Q3---Yeah most of the press is pretty MEH on all of it. TMZ is trying to blow it up tho. Hopefully it dies down because while all publicity is good publicity most of the time, this domestic abuse angle they are working is NOT good publicity imo.
