Crap! Christchurch, NZ just had a 5.8 earthquake! :( Are any of our NZ friends in that area? Reports here in oz say scary but no major damage or injuries - which is small miracle given number of people Xmas shopping etc. Mother nature providing a little perspective to the last 24 hours... |

Crap! Christchurch, NZ just had a 5.8 earthquake! :( Yup and another 5.3 a short time ago. All NZ Glamberts I know live there are accounted for - one report of injury so far. All malls closed & evacuated Airport too. @catz and I live 1000km north from there, so didn't feel a thing. NOT a good time 2 days out from Christmas here.  |
