Interesting write-up of the Webber's new Cinderella story. SO great to see Adam get a special mention for his Sea Witch song that is grabbing a lot of attention. Good for Adam! Too bad the song is not in the show, but Adam is reaping the benefits anyway. Just working with ALW is an achievement in itself.

I don't generally read Nickiswift but I too wondered what happened after Adam signed with that modeling agency. Bummer they didn't do anything with him. He has certainly been on a ton of magazine covers and was lean, fit and gorgeous enough that he should have been easy to market as a rockstar model. Maybe the agency in general did not take off or do much for anyone. But when he really gets back into the swing of things, I hope at least the magazine covers will return. I remember when he was one of the musicians picked by Billboard as one of the most stylish musicians. No OTT gimmicks were needed. He didn't follow anyone else's style but was an edgy, sexy and handsome man with his own trend setting style. He has a lot of high profile gigs going on and coming up so maybe we will see those magazine covers again soon.

LOL! You say that every time I say he does not need OTT gimmicks. I guess I should make it more clear that I am talking about red carpets, network tv and high profile events, etc. Elvis Special, Kennedy Center, Oscars, GMA concerts, Global Citizen. He always looks very stylish and gorgeous, imo. If he shows up at the Oscars wearing a ballgown or dressed like Billy Porter or Harry Styles (in photo shoots) or bright pink cowboy hat like LNX, I will change my tune. HA. But with pride events and Legendary type stuff OTT is to be expected but they are not exactly mainstream, high profile and well covered by the media. He seems to garner attention just fine as a fashion icon and with his talent. It is meant as a compliment. It is also meant as a compliment when I say he does not need a stage full of dancers to put on an interesting and exciting show. But just my opinion. |

Just as an aside….I noticed a ring on Jovan’s hand … wondering if the significance is —-as for Terrance and Anthony…a special someone in his life. 🤗😉🤗 I had not realized he left his position with the Big brother and sister’s agency…years ago. Adam sang at one of the fund raisers Jovan organized. His hard work is reflected in his career moves. Lurleene, hah, didn't realize that I always say that, but I find it kind of funny when you talk about Adam and no gimmicks, since he's been pretty OTT lately. I realize you don't like the OTT, or at least don't seem to like it, but in all honesty, Adam can be way, way out there. He seems to go in waves, I guess depending on his moods (I, too, prefer stylish over OTT and gimmicks, tbh). But at least he has the talent to back it up. Jury is still out on Lil Nas X, who seems to be flying high at the moment, but we'll see if it lasts. |
