First time I heard his voice was many years ago. He was singing in our hotel room, shower (Fun story). I sat on the edge of the bed and thought, “Holy Crap!! He’s gonna be a Star! …Bastard.” HA! Masail Elizalde@MasVocalMaster Aug 2 After reading the replies to my post for @michaelorland, I’ll spill… Adam and I met before Idol. It wasn’t dirty fun. Sorry. Just a fun trip for an audition. We were both flown out to NY, for the same Broadway show. I just lost new followers, right? Masail Elizalde@MasVocalMaster Replying to @purpiegirll @talcvids and 2 others The show was called MASADA. "I came across the concept CD of "Masada" whilst at Dress Circle and decided to buy it. The songs sound stunning. I'd be interested to see what others think of it. Aparently it will have its world premiere at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth in 2007. www.masadamusical.com" Source: BroadwayWorld.com masada the musical #1 Posted: 12/14/06 at 9:12am This appears to be a musical that premiered in Chicago in 2004.Chi to preem musical ‘Masada’ 2004 bow skedded at Shubert Theater By Robert Hofler “Masada,” the musical, has secured a fall 2004 berth at Chicago’s Shubert Theater. This so takes me...us...back! It takes me back leaving my PhD program [financial and physical exhaustion] and travelling across the country, to the little island I live on now. I would head out in the morning..and stop around supper time, check into a motel somewhere...as long as it had wifi...grab a bite, and settle in to watch the vids of Adams 'show', generally starting, and ending with the Bowie medly!!!!! Loved the Bowie medly and then, the duet with Alison. AWESOME.....

Memories here too, Mszue. The AI tour and the first QAL tour were the only 2 Adam concerts I've attended. I hate everything about live concerts lol...mostly the amount of people and the noise. But I fell head over heels during AI8 and wasn't sure that I'd ever get to see him again, so hubby surprised me with tickets when the tour landed in our area. We had seats in the rafters because he thought there would be less people...the sound was terrible (this venue is renowned for bad sound quality), the amount of people there was CRAZY, but all I remember is the frenzy when Adam was about to come on. The rest of the concert was totally forgettable, don't even remember what any of the other contestants sang, but Adam...man, the place blew up. The noise in the place was unbelievable.
It was beyond clear who the star of that show was.

Those early Adam concerts were so much fun. I am amazed that we listened to mobile phone cell casts of those shows and had no live stream videos. I lost a lot of sleep waiting for videos to be uploaded so I could post them!
And the hair conversations!
svca, you are correct, in the Idol shows, there was no doubt who the star was, even in Little Rock, AR and Memphis, TN (across the river from Arkansas), which were my two Idols Live concerts. I will never forget how strange it was to be one of the few Adam fans in Little Rock and yet have the place erupt for Adam.

Sexy, charismatic, stage presence and rock star with vocals to back it all up. I can't help but wonder what an impact he would have had, with his first network tv appearance (post Idol), without a stage full of others and too much planned. He likely would have turned the place out with just him, his band and a few backup singers. On the Idol tour, the fans and press could not get enough of him. He was on fire.
