I just watched the GNT video (again). What struck me this time around was the realization of how much was riding on AFL's shoulders during this tour. Not just for his own career path but the fact that he was carrying so many on his payroll. In some ways, groups have it easier because they share the weight to some extent. I can see why he wants to surround himself with people he's comfortable with while on tour. He is incredible in so many ways.
ETA - Sometimes I wish I knew that Miss Wavy Hands was one of us here. Would make it easier to tolerate! Kinda like when a driver does something which irritates me - I try to pretend it's actually my friend at the wheel and the irritation disappears like magic.

Mainstream Top 40 Got BTIKM as the first some and then the last three have been country. Yuck. Maybe that is MainstreamAC?? |

Mainstream Top 40 Got BTIKM as the first some and then the last three have been country. Yuck. Maybe that is MainstreamAC?? I'm set to only Mainstream Top 40 and I got BTIKM and now country. I have my listening station set to KIIS  |

WTF?! I am signed up as a CHR TOP 40 fan. The first song they gave me was Adam's. Now every song is a Country song and I am about ready to puke!!! Why are they giving me this dreck and why is BTIKM lumped in with all this crap!!!! |

I have my listening station set to KIIS Country is the reason why I stopped visiting g hit predictor. I found myself saying rude things in the comment boxes, like.. "why the hell are you giving me country", "UGH!", " you're wasting my time". Lol used to like to hear the new music before it hit the airwaves |

One of my fav songs of the year. 55 seconds ago Not always to I understand or like Adam's recommendations, but this one I really like and I can understand why Adam loves it. Lots of electronic sounds. Also sound and rhythm are truly used to interpret or further enhance the meaning of the lyrics. And interestingly sung too. Also agree with all of you (or most of you) that the Claude Kelly song called Cuckoo is actually a great song. Wonder why it never went anywhere, this is a demo - right? On this one I like the song and arrangement the most, the lyrics not so much, but they probably could be easily improved a tad. On the other hand Adam's other recommendations tonight (Jesse J - Domino and Rihanna -whatever-...), I cannot really get into. I like Jesse J's voice, but she sings about nothing and video means nothing, just pretty shots of pretty clothes with her as the mannequin...found both videos to be quite boring and had trouble making it through the 3 minutes. Adam has such a meaningful song, hope he does not go into this fashion only direction, would make no sense for me, given the lyrics. And 90s fashion???? This is about as NOT-Adam as I can imagine. I am sure he has some ingenious idea in mind, I cannot possibly fathom what it could be.
