Loved the new Adam vid!(and the gorgeous hair). Now I understand that WE are the Trespassers...into his thoughts, emotions, etc....his "soul". Even though I knew the album was going to be more real/personal, I hadn't thought about it that way. Glad he's inviting us in. To the "I hope you won't be disappointed..I've worked really hard on it".... aw Adam, there's no way you could disappoint us  He came across so open and vulnerable in that vid. Made me just want to hug him (and run my fingers through that glorious hair.)  and his "dark side" intrigues me. |

OK....one of my favorite vids. I saw another eons ago & could nvr find again. It was called Fucking on the dance floor & was awesome!! Anyone have it? TY, rad, for posting one of my all-time favorite vids!!  I think the RMT concert is the one I MOST WANTED TO SEE AND COULDN'T.... even more than Fantasy Springs. Well, FS stands out for everybody because of the all-time epicness of WLL, but Rock My Town was just epic hotness from beginning to end... at least THAT'S WHAT I'VE HEARD!!! LOL  You lucky bitches who got to see both can battle it out! ;D |

My radio station KLLC 97.3 in San Francisco has been playing BTIKM 4 or 5 times a day, but I just checked mediabase to see when it played this morning, and it hasn't been played at all since last night around 11 p.m. which seems unusual since it's usually played at least once by now. And they're the first station to add BTIKM too. Is this typical radio behavior? They haven't added BTIKM, that was a misreport earlier. All radio stations are different so it more depends on what they usually do. They might have a policy of playing things a lot and then settling it into a longer term rotation. They might be looking at the impact date and deciding to push the spins back up then when it would be more likely to help Adam's numberts. Just starting out at 5 a day was an abberation over typical behavior so who knows what they'll do. Ohh thanks for the update! I thought I was keeping updated, and saw the add report, but must have missed that it was not really an add. Still catching up on this thread. |

He was absolutely blown away by the number of women who called in saying that they would start fights with their partners just to "spice things up". Some even admitted that they kept pushing to the point of physical pushing and shoving in order to get the kind of hot physical sex they were looking for. OK, I'm still trying to catch up.... but... but.... whaaaaaat??  All of which is a sad commentary on the sex drive of the average straight American male. |

Additional info, not all but quite a few of those callers were hispanic women so I don't know if cultural norms play a part here as well. The female DJ who bet the guy that women would say yes they do this is Puerto Rican. Not judging but cultural and ethnic differences play a part in what is considered acceptable or not and one of the reasons that mixed heritage relationships can be harder is because what is considered normal and natural for one could be offensive to the other. We kind of see a taste of that on the board here with our global population when some are laughing about things that others seriously angst about. Just like with the question of nudity. Many Europeans have a much different view of the acceptability of nudity than Americans. In America the tendency is that nudity is always sexual in nature whereas people from other parts of the world see nudity and sex as separate things. By the way the DJ's I'm talking about are in Orlando on the Johnny's house show which I think is now available on iHeart radio nationwide. This particular discussion happened one day last week. They have explored some really interesting questions on this show another one in the last week or so involved whether or not you should break up before or after the holidays if you are in a relationship you know is over. The women's consensus was wait til after so you get your christmas gifts and the guys felt that they should break up before because it would not be right to accept gifts when they knew they were not in love anymore. The questions they come up with often end up indicating how different men and women tend to think. Fascinating stuff all in all. |
