Just off twitter.... entertainment.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474980959061by Renee Snyder Adam Lambert's New Single Sales Start Strong December 28, 2011 08:20 PM EST Adam Lambert's new single Better Than I Know Myself was released last week and the sales numbers are now available, showing a respectable amount for the debut. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the single sold 39,000 units in the first week. This is significant, considering there was no promotion for the song other than Adam announcing it on Twitter. more.... Can we say 39K as a strong start for first week? I know nothing about numbers, sales, etc. But, it seems to me that 39,000 during Christmas week with NO promotion, NO radio push, NO appearances, but only Twitter and fan sites is incredible. I think a number of highly promoted singles from non-Gaga/Bieber/Katy artists are lucky to sell that many. |

Ohh.. BTW, if Queen is going on tour in 2012 and wants Adam to sing with them. When I said Queen tour, I'm pretty sure it's going to be few dates. I don't think they want full tour in their age now. And IF Adam agrees to do it, it's going to be a very crazy busy year for Adam, since he has to jugle between his own album and additional job with Queen.
{ Imagining ... Adam fronting Queen on Wembley or Knebworth even if only for ONE day..... }

Can we say 39K as a strong start for first week? I think so. No promo except his tweet and some iTunes banners. I'm curious how she got this number. Did anyone else see sales numbers posted anywhere? IDK where soundscan numbers are recorded. |

Is this only for US sale? Adam has 1.2 million twitter fans, the number should be higher than this. But I know nothing about overall single sale. Just curious. Yes I think it's only for US sale |

I guess the passive aggressive tone of the thing put me off a bit. Whatever. We'll see soon enough. |
