Best Single: Better Than I Know Myself
Best Single not by Adam: Someone Like You by Adele
Best Album: Sing It Loud by kd lang. I LOVE this album: Every song is full of "desperate, delirious passion." It's amazing.
Best Movie: I haven't seen one I can recommend.
Best Book: The Kingdoms Trilogy by N.K. Jemisin, starting with The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms. I hadn't read fantasy in years, but this book about an outcast forced to compete for the throne of a mysterious city called Sky is so good. One of the main characters is a dark, mysterious, menacing, and sexy god ... hmmmm ....

 Q3 was trying to encourage folks to talk about "The Best of 2011" just trying to do my part AND burn up some iTunes credit.  I don't have anything in the Best of 2011. I'm falling behind in my reading and music listening. Its been a busy year. I'm hovering around July 2010. LOL Ok, got it - Then I´ll bring something over - Caro Emerald I think her album was only released in europe, and it was released in 2010, but she climbed the charts in 2011 - so it works in my book :D Since I´m hopeless in catagorizing music - her PR people describe it as "polished fusion of pop, jazz and swing". I just like it ;D And a youtube example: an acoustic version of one of the songs on her album: Just One Dance (it´s not her big hit, but I just love this version) THanks.. I'm running out the door, but will definitely check this out. |

Okay, I need some help - I got lost on YouTube ..... and found a new interview (for me anyway), but it´s just the first part of the interview - I want to see the rest  - I tried to find it, but I had no luck. So - anyone out there - is there a second part???? - Please! Q3 love the stars - thank you  I did a quick search and did not find part 2 - will look around when I have time.
