Curious why Adam has never appeared at the Met Gala. If there's a fashion obsessed music artist who belongs at that event it is Adam. No idea who decides who gets invited ... Every year, I think that too! I guess he's not on Anna Wintour's guest list. I see Lil Nas X showed up in all sorts of gold outfits. |

As I understand it, tickets to the Met Gala are very expensive, like $35k expensive. The money is a charitable donation to the Metropolitan Museum of Art but still. I guess I have always assumed that initially, Adam had something better to do with that much cash and later, he was usually touring. He'll make it one of these days.

I think it's just bad timing, or the fact that for some reason he's just not "on the list." This is definitely Lil Na's year. He's everywhere. That's fine. Not a fan either. |

I was wondering the same yesterday, especially when I found out in one of the late night show coverages that even Kim Petras was there, the artist who Adam sang a duet with in LA not too long ago. I thought to myself, "where is Adam"? I don't think that $$ is the issue here and I am pretty sure that Adam would love to be at an event like that, especially if it goes toward charity. It almost checks all the boxes. |
