Chiming in on Adam's looks - weight, hair, make-up, some clothes... I am wondering if Adam's people including his friends are honest with him in terms of what works and what doesn't, or if Adam just wants to do whatever, live his life, and style himself in a way that he considers edgy and fun, which is fine of course. However, he knows that looks matter and that designer clothes look best on a trim body, and I am wondering if he has made any efforts to get back into shape of sorts. After all, he has the $$ for life coaches, nutritionists, and trainers to get there. He is not even 40 yet and he has done it before. If it wasn't obvious that Adam wants to have longevity and remain in the public eye I would not say anything, but it almost hurts to see him let himself go. Rant over. I have to say this is a bit harsh. Good grief he hasn't gained 50 pounds. I know I put on 10 pounds thanks to Pandemic living. He is happy right now which is a bigger deal to me then putting on some pounds. JMHO

sizzling63 I’m wondering if the next QAL tour will be incentive to get back in shape. We know he put the weight on in high school. It is almost as if the body remembers these old set points. I have been reading an interesting book called “Burn” by Herman Pontzer which is about how we really burn calories, etc I noticed that Demi had also put on weight. I bet they and Adam were commiserating over celebrity body challenges! I can imagine that Demi and Adam are connecting over similar issues, and body challenges may be some of them. I too have been trying through my middle aged years to drop those extra pounds and I might check out the book you're reading. In general, the approach of a healthy lifestyle tends to work better for me than calorie counting alone. I'm just glad that I am not a celebrity who is in the public eye constantly.

I look at Demi very differently. Over the years, when she has gained weight, she goes out of her way to give interviews about how happy she is with her body and the weight gain is no bother. Then she loses a lot of it and shows up on magazine and album covers half naked and flaunting the new bod with a new interview. Then when the weight picks back up she tells fans not to judge. She seems to be a bit manic about everything. So I hope Adam is not taking pointers from her, lol.
Adam seems to be very self aware. I think we all just want him to look his best and to feel good about himself no matter his size. And I do miss his really cute and flattering outfits. HA.

Adam's IG story What does Olive Garden have to do with the Adams family? The Olive Garden slogan is "When you're here, you're family". Google "Olive Garden Family Meme" for some hilarious variations. But the above "math" is supposed to solve as 5xAdam+Family = "Adams" + "Family"

I bet they and Adam were commiserating over celebrity body challenges! Seeing I started things with my 'dad bod' comment, chiming in a bit further. Weight isn't really the issue and has little to do with fitness. Plenty of 'skinny' people who can't make it up a flight of stairs. If he's healthy and happy then whatever works for him is cool. Tailoring and a good eye for proportion make a world of difference, baggy shapeless stuff makes bulk look bigger. There are clothes I'd love to wear but they make me look like a box so I don't. But then again we are talking about someone who recorded a song called Two Fuxs so I entertain little hope he'll change much. He seems to like the skin he's in and his current groove. I agree it is not a weight issue, but a styling issue. His body looks much better here and this is recent. I promised myself not to comment on his make-up and beard again
