Oh my!! Adam in the black (iheart) and the red/black (GMA). Two gorgeous and stunning looks. The hair, light facial hair and sexy good looks.
I hope that comment on Clash about listening exclusively to pop is taken out of context, lol. All the press has been about Meghan as pop, Adam as the Queen frontman and Ester the song-writer (presenting them as a balanced panel and not skewed only towards one genre). And since the acts competing are pop, rock and country etc. it might be disappointing to the non-pop acts if one of the judges is saying they are limited to pop interests. I don't think he would do that. Besides we know Adam has diverse interests in music which makes for an interesting and good judge. And he often says Tame Impala is one of his favorite acts and Tame has been nominated for Grammy's and won other awards in rock and alt rock. One of the reasons I find Luke Bryan on Idol a bore is he mainly lights up when there is a country act. When there is a rock act on, he acts as if they are a joke that he can't understand. HA. Katy's main interest may be in pop but she does not show it to the contestants. She at least acts as if she is interested in other genres. But Adam was great as a judge/mentor on XFAU, and he has a diverse background, so I have no doubt he will be a good and fair one on Clash too.

I don't think the music preferences of the judges makes one bit of difference on Cover Bands. To me, this show seems to be a fun, full-blown group of bands doing great imitations of classic bands. The judges and audience will identify with a lot of them. I think the judges will enjoy all the genres and give their opinions no matter what their own genres are. This show will be over the top fun, IMO.
That review of the Grimm series sounds REALLY good to me because it will be edgy and dark and appealing to adults. That's what i was hoping for! And it sounds like Adam will be one of the more delicious characters.

Also with Clash, the winner receives $25,000 and a performance on Fallon. It may not sound like much in general but for struggling musicians they may just want to win it, lol. I wonder if there will be any fan participation or will the judges decide who advances and wins. It does sound like a fun show.
