I would think Adam would definitely have a director for his show. There are so many elements that bring a show together, lighting, sound, theme etc. It seems to me that Adam would hire someone, tell them what his vision is and have that person oversee everything. It’s a lot to have on your plate plus be the star of the show. I agree though with what someone else said. I’m surprised he didn’t hire a director months ago when he first knew about this gig. So I don’t know.

Roger Taylor also noted Adam Lambert's resemblance to Elvis:"My nickname for him is Camp Elvis. His presence&charisma reminds me of Presley in so many ways, the look, the showmanship, the overtly sexual attitude"
I agree with Roger about Adam being somewhat similar to Elvis in the looks and in the sexy department. With both of them, the sexy come from them and their movements and personas. It is not reliant on grinding against a woman/man which makes it more about a faux sex act or shock value than actually being sexy. Adam had some performances and movements on the Idol tour and his own concerts that were far more sexy than anything he did in that AMA performance with those dancers.
I have fond memories of when Adam was on the Idol tour and they went to Arkansas and Kris Allen territory. During his Bowie routine, he went into one of his signature sexy moves and you could hear a lady on the video scream "oh my Fu****g gawd", lol. And it was just him and no one else was needed. HA. It was hysterical to hear her reaction. But that was pretty much the reaction for many to him on that tour.

I too can't deny that Adam has reminded me of Elvis quite often, mostly because of their sex appeal without the need of a "supporting act". Lately though, I choose to resist the Elvis connection knowing how the late icon ended up.
@lurleene, to date I see the Idol tour Bowie medley as one of the sexiest performances that Adam has treated us too. WLL comes to mind also, as well as "Love Kills" and "Save Me" and "Ring Of Fire" of course, which was the decisive spark that made me a fan.

But I only think Adam reminds me a bit of Elvis when he has light facial hair and light makeup and the sexy moves and command of the stage. But that is where the comparison ends for me. I don't think about him in relation to Elvis when they mocked him as "fat Elvis" or for his drug addiction and overdose or the other things I've heard and read about him.
"Ring of Fire" for me too and WLL sealed it for me. And that Idol tour kept me on edge night after night. Looking for the videos and what the press had to say about Adam the next day was so much fun, lol.
