Interesting that 16% said, in his poll, that they just got the free one with the AO purchase. He doesn't have Kelly's or Daughtry either. Seems like RCA is being stingy with their numbers. Still wondering how Rene got them and if the 39,000 is accurate. We will have the numbers next week, for sure, and can figure out from there what this week was. The numbers wouldn't come from RCA anyway. The numbers we usually get are leaked by people in the industry who have access to Soundscan. People can get in trouble for leaking these numbers so that's why they don't always come out. It is my understanding that Soundscan only releases numbers publicly on occasion and not all numbers and they only allow publication of rounded numbers. Given that many people are on vacation during the holidays it doesn't surprise me that numbers aren't leaking. They charge huge amounts of money for access to these numbers so it is against their best interest to publish them. |

Rickey is a strange little idol blogger who has an interesting obsession with David Archuleta and developed a rabid dislike for Adam during Season 8 tour. He's really a strange guy. In the early days of my Adam obsession, I was looking for a home and went from Michael Slezak/EW to Rickey to MJ's to Planet Fierce to Atop. The Rickey phase lasted about a week. lol Even before he hated Adam, I thought he was ick. |
