Interesting. Could go a lot of ways with this. My first thought was the album is sophisticated and poppy and he thinks that Adam's fans are all old farts and will be shocked because they were expecting WWFM redux.  IKR? Or that Adam's audience consists of teenagers and the album is too sophisticated for them?? Or Adam is "assuming" his audience is gonna "get it", and we're all too dumb? It's just such a bizarre thing to say. ??? That's what I think. That the album is too sophisticated for the Pop audienece. I see no diss on older fans, but just the opposite. However, why would someone get an advance copy 3 months early? I smell a troll! |

[laughs] Its been a full day past New Years for some, but I had to come back to close out this awesome thread. To all my virtual (and now some RL) friends on ATOP, I have been so happy and honored to share the last few years with you. Seoulmate - I can't belive you kept all the drunk stories! [grins] Unfortunately one of my guy friends that night (who became my husband years later ;D ) snapped a photo of me with sangria practically coming out of my nose, which he has carefully kept hidden away...but gleefully brings out whenever certain conversational topics about my "good girl" status arise. : Glasskam - I know RL was busy biting you in the butt, but if you're lurking, we'd love to see your miniature spaceship back here some day. [smiles] Remember, the tiny lollies are kept fresh in the wormhole that stays steady in the corner of every thread. *crawls onto thread* *waves pathetically* Just checking in to let Hoppers know that NZ made it  I may, or may not have a hangover, so could y'all talk in whispers for a while. Please and thank you  [snickers evily] After all I hope that the hangover hasn't stuck around this long!   I'm still waiting for my brand new AMERICAN passport! - Congratulations!! Well, THAT'S it for New Zealand then!! So long and thanks for all the fish! (Oh yeah, and the kiwi fruits, gonna miss those) But - hey - with the end of the world means I don't have to frantically finish my end-of-year tax and donation stuff. WOOT!! Off to drink. Bye all!!!  Oh come on, give her some time to sober up... we middle-of-the-world peeps are just getting ready/smashed ... thanks a bunch for the LA-based part of the world for taking care of our Adam!!! [whispers] Shhhhh........ I was just joking. [grins] Its only 9 am here so I've got probably another 12 hours to pull my hair out before I can celebrate with the rest of y'all!
