I remember Brian saying it took so many different singers to sing what Freddie sang and that Adam could sing them all... Proof in point. Adam could have done the entire ABC show by himself. I mean he does it every night when performing with Queen  |

I thought Adam was sensational but also enjoyed the other artists except Alessia Cara. I didn't like her Killer Queen. They must have autotuned the hell out Jojo's performance and made use of strong back up singers as that girl cannot sing in my opinion. She sung a few bars I think on DWTS and it was painful.

My thoughts: I enjoyed the whole. Lots of really good acts and good voices. I really liked Pentatonix, BTW. I thought they were specially good. The only one with a Queen-worthy voice was Adam. He's their front man for all the right reasons. Nobody has a voice that rich and deep. Nobody. He nailed TSMGO with his usual skill and heart.
I like Darren. He was a fun host. He really likes Adam, too. Darren does not have a Queen-level voice but he did his best and deliver a nice performance. He doesn't have the richness and power, though, that Adam has.
I hope some viewers were impressed with Adam. A network show with a vast range of viewers is great exposure. Maybe few viewers will seek out Adam's own music a bit.
Lots of people don't know that a song is a Queen song. We hear their music all over the place but even I didn't know all those songs were Queen songs 'til Adam joined Queen. Hope this show opened a lot of eyes.
Adam was simply magnificent.

I enjoyed the show but when the master himself appeared everything else shutdown. Adam was fantastic! He has the showmanship rocking or with a ballad. What a vocalist. I would not want to follow him. HA.
After Adam, I guess the act I liked the most was Derek Hough. I love a great dance routine (he is really good) when it is about the dance. Just don't care to see dancers substituted for good singing as is too often the case with many pop singers, lol.

I agree....her Killer Queen was awful. Worst of the whole show. I had never heard of JoJo before....not impressed at all. As usual......Adam killed it. |
