I was hoping that Adam would hold that final glory note to the max, and he did! He gave his fans exactly what they wanted and he showed newbies what a truly exceptional singer he is. And yes, I'm sure lots of viewers didn't even know that he's been Queen's frontman for years.
And I agree that if Adam had just come on the scene now, he'd be the biggest pop star ever. The gay thing wouldn't be an issue at all.
Still reveling in that voice. It was worth waiting for. But we all knew that.

Adam gave a phenomenal performance of TSMGO. Even if you put aside the vocals (hard to do) just his presence commanded your attention. I enjoyed the show but he was a true unchallenged rock star on that stage.
