Just checked that CT dj's KISS 957 site. Paraphrasing because I deleted it - Someone asked him if true that he told a 10-yr old girl that Adam was born a girl. His answer? "I thought she was 11." Typical smart-ass dj.

Nice increase for HAC but I'm hoping next week there will be incredible increase both in AI and spins if indeed he get adds.
BUT
Canada HAC...What's with the decrease? and AI loss?
Do I have to get my worry beads out again.
Lastly, Why aren't we seeing a presence on the AC Chart? I see Kelly, Daughry and AIken. Not undertanding all the differences. I only hoped he would be on the AC charts due to increase audience impressions.

His AI increase, in HAC is very nice indeed. Not gonna worry about Canada! There are 2 songs above him dropping fast so he could be as high as 36 or 37 within a few days too! Top 20, here he comes!!

OK, so I will worry about Canada. The top station in Canada CHUMFM, did not play it during the work day at all yesterday or today, in fact they have only spun it once today at around 4:00 a.m. Not a good sign, much like what happened to Sleepwalker. It worries me because I wonder how many more chances they will give him.
They tweeted the day before yesterday about 10,000 votes for the Top5@5 and everyone was all over it, but I took it as a snide remark - that is was fan spamming. I don't think enough of the regular listeners are picking up on it - and it is going no where on itunes here. I was not surprised about Sleepwalker because it doesn't fit, but I am about this song.
I think that the fans spamming doesn't give the song a slow enough burn for regular listeners to get into it. YMMV, IMHO and all that.
Argh.

Oh, that's not good about CHUM. Really don't know quite what to think since Canada has always been such a supporter. (And, the vibe is so close to that of WWFM which was such a success. Confused)
I have heard that sometimes radio will give a new song a significant amount of spins for a certain amount of time, then slow up a little as they analyze feedback.
Ultimtely, good adds next week (meaning some major markets like, possibly Z100) could reignite things.
eta: And I guess there is always that possibility that the song isn't connecting with listeners :( And in that case, there isn't much we can do. The next 2-3 weeks will tell the story, I think.

It's when stations like KIIS LA won't even spin it that I get pissed! I am not worrid because I think this album, from the reviews, may have about 5 great choices for singles on it! Also, if it becomes big in the US, the Canada stations will play it!
