This is OT but since we were talking about hair loss yesterday, I just happened on this article today. www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2021/11/pandemic-hair-loss-treatment-products/620696/“Hair loss can be temporary or permanent, and it has many causes—heredity, chronic illness, nutritional deficiency, daily too-tight ponytails. But one type of loss is responsible for the pandemic hair-loss spike: telogen effluvium. TE, as it’s often called, is sudden and can be dramatic. It’s caused by the ordinary traumas of human existence in all of their hideous variety. Any kind of intense physical or emotional stress can push as much as 70 percent of your hair into the “telogen” phase of its growth cycle, which halts those strands’ growth and disconnects them from their blood supply in order to conserve resources for more essential bodily processes. That, in time, knocks them straight off your head.” “Eighty percent of men and about half of women experience some form of hair loss in the course of their life. TE was first described in the 1960s, and it has long been a predictable side effect of surgery, changing medications, crash dieting, childbirth, bankruptcy, and breakups. The way TE resolves for almost everyone who doesn’t already have chronic hair-loss issues is that the hair eventually grows back—plain and simple. You would think, at some point, that someone would tell you not to panic if you lose some hair after something intense happens—that even if you shed for months, it will grow back eventually, and there’s no need to do anything but wait.”

Oh wow! GMA and Big Ben were some of my favorite Adam looks and there are many, lol. And it is always the real Adam whether he chooses to look sexy and gorgeous or OTT. But clearly he does not need a lot of extra to make you pay attention. He is never the average Joe. We have seen many sides of Adam since it all started for him, and we all have our favorites. I have a feeling that he may have made some adjustments here and there "to fit in" while being totally himself other times. Only he knows. The one constant for me has been his voice. But wouldn't that apply to most? CMT, The Kennedy Center, A pride event, The Oscars, QAL. He is not a stereotype or character who only presents himself one way at every event. I like some colors better than others. He rises to the occasion. It was fun when he wore the codpiece at an Australian pride event but he was not going to wear it to the Oscars, lol. There was a time when Gaga never stepped out of character. But that was not Adam. I remember when Ed Sheeren performed with Beyonce and she was all glamorous with a beautiful gown and he looked as if he were on the way to the grocery store. HA. Her fans were furious with him. But Ed always pretty much looks the same way so I was not surprised that he failed to try to match Beyonce. So I will take the many sides of Adam and we can all love the looks we love. But they are all the real him and I don't believe he would view any as fake Adam and neither would I. And I agree about that voice.

How horrible for him and his wife. This is such sad news. I always liked Daughtry although I wasn't a "follower." He has lot of fans. Such a sudden loss.

I make adjustments all the time, pretty much as soon as I go out and try to look nice based on the occasion. It "ain't that deep" really. Adam is Adam, and he is unique no matter how he presents himself.
