That’s a really good performance by Darren and Adam. I‘m looking forward to the Music video, that will be released tomorrow. Do we have any idea, when the Kelly show was recorded? Was it this week or before Adam traveled to NYC and London? Don't know for sure but probably taped before. Kelly tapes ahead. And by the looks of the Uk, he looked as if he had dropped some of the weight even with the long black coat on. He looked more confident. The same with the orange blazer you could see even his face looks thinner. I just read elsewhere that some viewers were noticing his weight on the KC show. I agree that this was likely taped earlier in the month. He looks decidedly slimmer now, at least to me. Of course, I loved the performance and am really looking forward to the official video tomorrow. As for Kelly, she is WAY too bouncy and scream-y for me. I know these daytime talk shows are pretty superficial, so I didn't look for anything profound, but she pretty much drove me crazy. Darren was a good guest, of course, but she is just a manic talker. On the other hand, her voice IS terrific. I love her intro song. I assume she does that every time. Would love an Adam/Kelly duet sometime. |

I got the impression that Adam and Darren were filmed at a different time from the talk part of the show. I don't think Kelly could chat with Adam cuz he was not there. Possible?

I had the same thought - the performance seemed like it taped in advance of even Darren's time on set.

Good to see that many of us had the same thought regarding a likely earlier taping of the KC show duet. Adam definitely looked slimmer in the fall color outfit and by looking at his face alone he looked less heavy in London as well. I just checked and the shaved sides may have grown in a bit more also. Sorry Adam, but Darren won the best hair award for me today lol.

The school shootings (as any shooting) are so horrific that anything else pales… but that’s a political discussion of the type we are avoiding on this forum. so I’ll stick to the duet: one of the very few Adam’s duets where the voices work well together (I.e, the “other” voice does not irritate me.) Well done! the look is a different stord but lately I prefer to listen and not look, so all good  Me too Nica! It’s been a long time now since I’ve enjoyed watching Adam. Strictly audio mode only for me. I lasted about 20 seconds with the KC performance. I think, looks wise, this was his lowest point. Great to see him out hiking today though. Only a few months before the eyes of the world will be on him for the QAL tour and I hope he finds the motivation for that, that he clearly didn’t find for his prestigious Vegas solo shows - or for the recording some months back, of the U.K. Starstruck which will be prime time mainstream with huge exposure for him. |
