RE Adam's Official Fan Club: Is this the same as the Adam Official Fansite? I am a member of Adam Official in order to support Adam. I pay the dues, but I post there very rarely. There isn't as much news there as you would think. Yes, there are the regulars who post often as on any fan site. But I find that site to be very clumsy when it comes to having a conversation. You have to go to each fan's separate posts and reply, but no one else sees it unless they also go to that particular person's thread. So it's a bit klutzy, IMO. The other fan sites seem to be much more on the ball with news, too.
I have to agree with Roger about drum solos. To some, they are a real highlight of a concert. To others, they are the time to take a bathroom break. I took drum lessons as an adult because I love watching drummers so much. I LOVED my lessons and got fairly good at it. Had a great teacher who was fun and fantastic drummer himself. I played a bit with friends just for fun but no real shows. That's why my username is "girldrummer." Drummers still fascinate me. There's more to it than you think. Drummers are the backbone of the band. The metronome. The stabilizer that keeps it all together.
So glad that Adam will be on Lorraine's show! She adores him.
