Yes, and that one will be out in May. They always rank the Top 10 Idols. I don't know how reliable this is. Here are A couple of other singers. Bruno has been A writer/producer on several hits. This seems really low. None of the others I looked up had A write up. Bruno Mars Net Worth How much does Bruno Mars make? Bruno Mars Net Worth $2 Million USD Jason Derulo Net Worth $3.5 Million USD Adele Net Worth How much does Adele make? Adele Net Worth $6 Million USD Kesha Net Worth $8.5 Million USD Justin Bieber Net Worth $65.5 Million USD Lady Gaga Net Worth $110 Million USD The Lady Gaga number is definitely wrong. I remember reading the original article and the author was called to task by one of his readers. He sheepishly admitted using the high end of his estimates. When I read his explanation of how he got the numbers I saw how wrong the author was. I think I remember the guy not even being a finance guy, just an average joe putting an article together to get hits. I don't think Adam is worth 5 million quite yet. I'd say he's probably still under 4 million.

If you didn't see it-- this link works-- for now.. watch it quick! I love this, seeing Adam in plain clothes singing is not really something you see him do all the time, so it's kind of refreshing.

This is feedback from, one, just ONE, 17 yr. old. She does listen to the radio when in her car, spends most of her free time on the computer and listens to music there, not sure how that works???? Is very interested in music from many different countries, is an Adam fan and has been to one concert. Fantasy Springs. Her comment, not a professional critic by any means, just an ordinary run of the mill 17 yr. old, ........Adam needs...........one song with just the right HOOK/CATCHY VERSE and he will be in the "In Crowd". This 17 yr. old loves his "fast" songs, not so much the Broken Open etc. We have spent many hours together this last year, and, although I love the entire album, you are so very " right on" I believe when you say you wish there was one song that was catchy enough to get into everyone's head. I think this is what this one, only one, 17 yr. old was trying to convey. BTW, do not know why, Bruno Mars "Grenade" is one of her favorites, so is Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream". Guess this generation falls way short when it comes to Cassie's expertise regarding true talent. I am dumbfounded why artists, such as Adam, have to have a song with a hook/catchy phrase to be considered a superstar? My 16 & 19 year old boys said the same as your 17 year old girl. He only needs one catchy song to make it. They said that his current songs are at best mediocre and the only thing that makes them good is Adam's voice other wise they are forgettable. They are fans of Dream theater, Daft punk, Disturbed and 70s rock with the 19 year old also loving techno and dance music. I love FYE and basically anything Adam sings and they heard FYE and other AL songs a lot as it is the only music in my car You and I have much in common, as do my 17 yr. old granddaughter and your 16 & 19 yr. old boys. For me, just goes to prove that it is soooooooo very hard to please everyone This is an industry, music/popstar/entertainer, that caters to an age group that I really have NO idea what it takes to please. The 17 yr. old I am referring to does not spend money on music either. She travels all over the world and downloads, I do not even know how, music that her friends are listening to and enjoying/loving. I bought her a FYE CD for her car, if I had not bought it I know she would have downloaded the songs that she liked off the album. I know she only listens to, maybe 3 songs off the album. For any artist, not just Adam, what audience do you want to attract? The younger one that loves your music and thinks you are the next coming of Christ or the one with the money and actually supports you with $$$$$$$$$$$? So confused.

Ideally I guess any artist would like to attract as many fans as possible and cover the widest demographic. Most find they cannot do that and establish their niche over time. Am I wrong?

And that is just one part of the equation. There is also the question of, "As an artist, what do you want to create? What comes from your soul? What is your vision? What do you enjoy singing?" In opposition to that may be "As a business person, what can you market? Where is the profit to be made?" Finding an acceptable path between those two is a challenge.
