Are we...as a 'group' going to promote a specific strategy regarding Adam's birthday and donating to his Feel Something foundation?
The reason we had such a dynamic impact on his 30th BD is that we made a noise and set up a coordinated strategy. The numbers and help we can do will be severely damaged if all we do is 'our own thing' when ever we feel the mood takes us there. I know many...perhaps most here...intend to donate $40 on the 29th, but if we just tweet out those intentions the numbers could be drastically different...and Adam would be so excited.
I follow but am not a special 'friend' or influence on Gelly but if a few of the more active twitterers posted out a few times, that would make a huge difference. I will do what I can but if everyone did something it would really make a difference.
Starting here... Just my thoughts...
Asking for 40$ in general could be a bit too much for too many. |

Oh how thrilled I am to see Adam in the Idol commercials. So far there have been three that I have seen and each time Adam is the only male Idol included in superstars they discovered. I remember how disappointed Idol seemed when he did not win. But they have acknowledged his stardom, and how proud they are of him, going back to when they brought him back the very next year as the first alum mentor.
I agree mszue. I had sorta forgotten about the birthday without some kind of push. I still plan to donate tho.

I hear you..I def fit in the lower 10/20% of member’s wealth status, hence the ??….But we have also had two years where we couldn’t  at concerts so I plan to go ahead. We collectively used to have a wee bit of clout, and is how we created the amazing reputation we still have as an awesome fandom. If folks can’t manage that, it is no shame and nobody needs t know…or will do a call out. I suggested the amount as that was our precedent. |
