Thanks to several members here I finally got signed up on the new fan club site. It wasn't clear from the original email that we would be signing up on a completely new platform, called Circle, that would be hosting the fan club, sort of like ProBoards is the platform that hosts Adamtopia. So when it asked if I already had an account, they meant on the Circle community site, not on the Adam Fan Club. I've never been on Circle before, so of course my fan club password didn't work, and when I clicked on "forgot password" and entered my email address, Circle didn't find it because I'm not a member of Circle.
When I finally understood that I had to just start from scratch and create a whole new account after clicking on the "unique Link" it was easy peasy.
