svca . ….the perfect example of ‘less is more’…… Yep. He was perfect with performance and looks. That GMA, Iheart, Elvis, NYE-UK and Strictly come Dancing to name a few. The only things distracting about those looks were how sexy, handsome and attention grabbing he was.

Yes, he was absolutely breathtaking that day. That deep red shirt, that perfect body, perfect face, perfect voice. One of my favorite events he has done.
lurleene, thanks for the update on Billie E. It does show how some top stars are managing to deal with performing during the pandemic, which, by the way, is not over yet. She has a HUGE fanbase and she has sure kept busy with new music, too, so she was ready to give the audience something new.
I hope the musical that Adam has been working on turns into a success. He was in the studio last week, but we really don't know what for. His planned tour with Xtina was supposed to be HIS MAJOR TOUR of the year, but like so many artists, he couldn't do it. I hope he gets to work with Lino again, too. They are a great pair of like minds.
In a perfect world, Adam would be planning for another solo album for 2023. If the musical succeeds, so much the better, but I think most of us want to hear and see Adam being Adam, with his own new music and a tour. In the meantime, we take what we can get! Hope there is more going on behind the scenes than we realize.

I was in the park that day. I must be in the photo somewhere, since I was in the early admission, but I'm short, so can't see myself. It was nice to watch the rehearsals in advance of the actual broadcast.
Our plan for QAL is to go to the Stockholm show at Avicii Arena. My husband's sister married a Swede and has live there since 1974. Needless to say, we haven't seen each other for several years now. Sweden is dropping the requirements for proof of vax to get into shows and restaurants, and will probably join the trend to drop proof of a negative covid test as long as you are vaxed - coming off a plane. The airline lobby has asked for the drop of the negative covid test for coming back into the US.
Before getting judgmental about it - consider that United Airlines will provide covid testing at the airport for $250.00 per test. I don't know what the cost is for the test abroad, except that health insurance doesn't cover it.
The airlines contend that covid is so widespread in the US, that screening is useless in preventing spread, and is depressing international travel, since people do not want to risk being held up on the day of departure.
I kind of agree - screening is like locking the barn after the horses got loose - and the protocols for isolation after a possible exposure have been reduced from 14 days (with or without symptoms_ to 5 (if you have no symptoms). Stay put if you have symptons, but otherwise, just mask up.
