Love that soft blue/gray jacket. So subtle and perfectly shaped. And yes, I love to see more Adam-focused news/projects before QAL starts. When Adam's plate is full, I am happy. Starstruck is sure getting the full-force media blitz! Yes to everything!
On a different note, I know you wondered before if Jhud would get an Oscar nomination for "Aretha." I guess you heard by now that she did not. Nor did her original song get a nom. But Gaga did not get a nomination either for "House of Gucci." I did enjoy Jennifer's performance but I stopped watching Gucci half way thru the movie.
Seems that Beyonce and Billie Eilish will battle it out for an Oscar win for their songs. Beyonce and her fans probably feel it is her turn to win an Oscar. But I would not bet on Billie coming up short. The last Bond movies gave a win to Adele and Sam. And Billie seems to win everything so my bet is on her and her brother winning.
Would love to see QAL (or Adam) get a nice movie score one day. HA.

How did Adam Lambert get famous?
Adam spent several years striving for his big break, fronting an underground rock band The Citizen Vein while performing in musical theatre productions.

His big break came when he auditioned for the eighth season of American Idol in 2009, wowing the judges with performances of classic tracks Rock with You and Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.
Simon Cowell was an early fan, giving Adam a standing ovation for a moving performance of the Tears and Fears and Gary Jules hit Mad World – the only time the notoriously harsh judge ever delivered such an accolade on the show.
Adam eventually finished runner-up behind fellow singer Kris Allen, and later placed fifth on a list of the 120 best contestants in American Idol's history.

I was kind of surprised when JHud did not get an Oscar nod. But then again, the movie did not do very well. I'm sure she did a great job. Didn't see that movie. I did see Gucci. I thought it was ok ands I actually thought Gaga played her character extremely well. Surprised that she did not get a nom. The big names will get the noms for the best songs. Adam would do GREAT with one of those James Bond movie theme songs. Wish he would have gotten the chance. This is Billie's time in the spotlight so she'll get lots of awards. And yes, I'd love to see QAL or Adam get to do a movie score. |
