You guys... I don't understand all this bit about no promo. I think the right people have been working this song behind the scenes. The song is getting adds and spins before the impact date, so that tells me someone is doing something right. As far as external promo that the "little people" (us, the audience) hear, I honestly think interviews and TV would be far more beneficial once the stations are fully spinning the song. He needs the sales not now, but closer to impact date and album release. I'd rather he burn through all those radio interviews and TV shows opportunities closer to his album release time. He'll be able to cement his presence in people's minds better for album sales, rather blow promo on a simple single sale. That's how I feel - my confidence is HIGH. I think that there has been and is currently groundwork being done to show how well BTIKM fits radio. Of course, Adam will kill it whenever, wherever he performs it - but right now it's about dj's/pd's/radio audiences saying and feeling, "yeah, cue it, play it, love it, kiss it, whack it, etc. I'm probably influenced by the fact that I heard the song on the radio in the car today (YAY!) - MIX 105.1 out of Orlando is playing it. And the dj I heard intro-ed it by commenting on the positive tweets he's getting about it - so, of course, I'm feeling like there's no stopping this song! |

IRISH--I don't think u can ACCIDENTALLY do a cleanse. lol. Like "Ooops I accidentally drank nothing but juice for a week and forgot to eat actual food!" LMAO Do you mean to tell me you have never eaten or drank something and had an accidental cleanse? Boy I have, more than once in my life, and it wasn't fun. And I wasn't glowing. You are one lucky lady Chunkey. HAHA but that's not a cleanse that's more like Montezuma's Revenge! |

I dutifully listened to the other song, and may I just say that BTIKM blows that away. So did I! The other song is awful! It's bad Bruno Mars!! |

Not to be a pessimist at all because I think the single will do well, but weren't those 3 weeks of WWFM sales likely smaller since most of Adam's die hard fans bought the album instead of the single, since they were both out at the same time? I don't think the 2 single sales can compare at this time. But the die hard fans had the same opportunity here because you could get the single as immediate download with pre-order of the album on Adam's official site and those singles would not have counted. This was confirmed by Sony that those downloads do not count towards the single sales. |

Durberville - Nice to know I'm not alone out here!  The logical side of my brain tells me that EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE FINE. There's a plan. And obviously Adam is fine with the way things are going. He's just drinking his Jambalicious Gook & bouncing off the walls. :  I am going to admit that of the 8 hours a day I could spend on PF (and now ATOP) not one second was spent on the numbers thread. The worrying that is already going on about BTIKM is a good example of why. We should just keep doing what we're doing, let the promo get in full swing, and see what happens. Stressing about it does no good and gives me carpel tunnel from scrolling past all the angst. |
