Adam is so gorgeous in D-G! Very flattering. I am overjoyed at how Adam is accepted and loved in the UK. Those who are just discovering are so entranced by him. Better late than never.
This is why doing these kinds of shows is important. It gives Adam incredible exposure to a huge mainstream audience. Hope this enthusiasm will spill over to his own projects and his own music, too.

I agree. He has received so much support and acceptance on all the singing shows that he has judged or mentored. On Idol (mentoring and guest judging) XFAustralia, Clash and now Starstruck. He is a natural. Unfortunately he rarely seems to have any new music to promote along with these big tv opportunities/projects. The Oscars and TSMGO doc. were good examples. He was only able to get out a non-promoted FS when there was SO much excitement around and about him. The media and fans were going nuts until he said it was only a teaser. By the time NE came out, the excitement had slowed down except with fans. A lot of the judges/coaches on these shows in the US ALWAYS have new music on the ready, lol. Not sure how that happens for them. Tho, I think being on a major may have a lot to do with that. But these projects are good exposure for Adam nonetheless and he is very good at it. Looking forward to the concept album which may come out before the musical.

Yes, Adam's Velvet (and tour) was nipped in the bud by COVID, but then other artists had the same thing happen to them. If Adam had not had "the musical" in the works, my hope is that he would have started work on a new music for his own next album right away. Seems that his own new music rarely jibed with the appearances that he makes. Sure, being on a major label helps, but it's not the only factor. Frustrating.
And lurleene, I did post one last time on yesterday's thread. Thanks for your input.

I really enjoyed this interview. He was laid back and relaxed.
