Adam reading those words about George Michael was lovely. George was one of those gay people whose adversity opened the door for others after him.
I would like to see on Tik Tok more often. It's used by millions and they tend to be on the younger side. He needs more of that kind of exposre, IMO.
Adam is really on a roll in the UK! That Saturday Night Takeaway show seems to be mainstream show lots of viewers.
Great to hear that Starstruck is doing so well in the ratings. And yes, Adam is definitely the Alpha Judge! Love the other little interviews, too. Cooking salmon, singing in the shower. It's all so endearing and normal life.

Adam is so smart to have expanded his reach. QAL, US/international tv shows,diverse high profile projects. The exposure should continue to help him with healthy numbers for solo touring. So many Idol alums had their careers almost decimated (playing to a few hundred in clubs and little media interest) when they went indie and were no longer on US radio. Even Kelly, tho still with a major, is not a darling on radio nowadays. However, her career expanded in a big way without them. And Jhud has long expanded beyond radio as well. Daughtry is getting a second wind on rock radio that he never even had before he went indie, but other radio formats and media interest seemed to have slowed way down for him too.
Adam has never missed a beat and I look forward to seeing what he does with the musical and concept album. My fingers are still crossed for a rock leaning album. It doesn't have to be hard, hard rock either. "Velvet" really moved in a good direction and I so enjoyed those shows before Covid ended them. Unlike many pop artists, who edge toward their 40s and beyond, still relying on dancers to produce an entertaining show, Adam has always had choices. Along with his extraordinary vocal abilities, he can rock and dance organically, with smooth sexy moves, all on his own and with his band. He can entertain and hold the attention of an audience by fronting Queen or with solo shows. His talent and showmanship are undisputed.

One of my Absolute favorites from Velvet along with Closer To You. But there are so many on that album that I loved so I could choose many more. |
