I think it is fairly clear that Adam is the "Simon Cowell" of the judging team...but a much more legitimate, and kinder, and more helpful version! I bet there are a few producers finally seeing what we have always known would be if he were given a fair chance! Right on! Adam is just a natural at this judging gig. He sounds so intelligent with his musical insights and pointers. |

If Adam is the Simon Cowell of this show, is the blonde gal Paula? She always looks at him in kind of an exasperated way lol...like his explanations are way to detailed or lengthy for her. At least that's the impression I get.
Must admit I'm only watching the clips of Adam...the show itself is a bit too cheesy for me lol. Same with Clash of the Cover Bands. I don't really enjoy these kinds of shows.
I have to say one of the gals that did Tina Turner was really good though.

He just gives more valid points instead of just you are so wonderful said in many different ways. She is more of the everything is great type of gal and everyone gets a gold star and standing ovation, imo. I get the impression that she tries to undercut him a little sometimes when he critiques but it is not working, lol. He knows his stuff when it comes to singing and performing and it is pretty obvious. HA. |
