Crossing my fingers, but I'm assuming that Brian wouldn't be hinting if it wasn't already a done deal? I would also assume that at this point, the concert performers are lined up.
If true, I'm really excited that Adam will get to be a part of that...sounds like a big event. Unless of course Brian will perform solo again lol.

This is an interesting article about pop stardom and how short and sweet it is for so many. Some of the 80s and 90s people I had never heard of and that was probably because their time in the sun was so short and I was focused mostly on career not music. Adam has had and is having a good solid run. He continues to be creative and contribute. I suspect his later career may head back to musical theater either on the stage or behind the stage. Look at what Hugh Jackman is doing and he made a lot of his money as Wolverine! www.theguardian.com/music/2022/apr/16/pop-stars-spotlight-bob-geldof-robbie-williams-lisa-maffia

Look at what Hugh Jackman is doing and he made a lot of his money as Wolverine! www.theguardian.com/music/2022/apr/16/pop-stars-spotlight-bob-geldof-robbie-williams-lisa-maffiaI am catching up from a busy weekend and stopped at your article. Thanks! It is very insightful and it affirmed and also challenged many of the thoughts that I have had. I definitely came to realize that the resurgence of Queen to fill arenas and even stadiums worldwide has been quite the phenomenon. Probably a perfect blend of nostalgia infused with "fresh blood" - a perfectly suited and highly skilled new frontman in Adam, who happens to pull his own fandom into it - plus something totally "new" for the younger generations who happened to learn about Queen through Bohemian Rhapsody the movie. A very fortunate circumstance. Now I am wondering how long it will keep going. Adam the solo artist...below is one of the sections that made me reflect... "The passing of fad and fashion is rarely the artist’s fault. In a 1997 piece for the New Yorker, the American essayist Louis Menand suggested that stardom cannot last longer than three years. 'It is the intersection of personality with history, a perfect congruence of the way the world happens to be and the way the star is. The world, however, moves on.' " I am wondering if Adam may have indeed been ahead of the time and if now he could already be considered "nostalgia", considering that he came onto the scene over a decade ago and was already past his "pop star" prime when it all started (supposedly the "best" song writing happens in the early twenties). Hmm... Again, a thought provoking and educational article for me though I have my own opinions. One is that youth is highly valued and that's why labels push them to the top if they fit the mold, regardless how good someone else's music is. Lady Gaga comes to mind here as a "bright light" and inspiration. For me, she has done a tremendous job at re-inventing herself and transforming her career, and I personally find her more interesting and appealing now than I did in her earlier years. I realize now that she is a tremendous talent in many ways. Similarly though, Adam has also done a very good job at branching out and attracting new fans. The Queen gig came just at the right time in retrospect.
