Tyler and Adam are both in that camp where they can't believe what being with QAL has brought to them in their careers. Amazing opportunities and triumphs! One more thing about Rod Stewart. I have always liked him a lot and his songs, too. He was on Bill Maher's show the other night. He was a very fun, entertaining guest. As for his voice changing in his older age, I have to remind myself that he has always had that gritty, raspy voice. That's his whole vocal persona. I'm sure his voice has changed a bit over the years, but he still sounds like Rod. I'm so excited for the QAL performance! What will they sing, I wonder? Back in 2000, my daughter and I were at a Rod Stewart show in Ottawa. Our seats were in the balcony, but my DD left and managed to dance her way to the front row, where someone [security?] collected 4 or 5 younger pretty's such as her and brought them up to dance background, on a raised row behind Rod, for "Do you think I 'm sexy". She got braver and stepped of the dancing stand to try and dance up close...when security appeared from nowhere to lead her back to her 'place'. She got quite the laugh...and a great concert memory! |

mszue, what a fantastic story! Your daughter was very gutsy! I remember geing like that years ago, too, Makes for great memories. Rod has always put on a great show!
As for Oliver, I'm sure he stopped over in London just long enought to meet up with "somenone" he wanted to see. Copenhagen's not thar far away. I bet he stops in at some of the QAL shows here and there.
So excited about the Jubilee performance!

Well, we know they went to the Victoria and Albert Museum which is a wonderful museum and always has beautifully presented exhibits. It looked like a display that would really appeal to both of them.

I've been to that museum. It's very impressive. I can see how Adam and Oliver would enjoy it. It's filled with beautiful things, clothing and objects of exquisite design. |
