Unless I am missing some Planet Fierce lore, "betterer" was coined by Justin Hawkins' in the "Music Again" lyrics. If I am wrong, please enlighten me  Yep, that's when we heard the word the first time. I remember chuckling when I listened to the song because I'm kind of a stickler for spelling errors, etc...but of course when Adam does it, it's just cute lol. |

"betterer" became "redsetterer" when people ask me what kind of dogs I have - for years and years now - since I first heard "betterer".

One of the amazing things we regularly see about Adam on stage is his awareness of what others around him are going through...and things that are happening around him....and is quickness in acting on those events. Witness him correcting Roger's mic until the tech can pop in and fix....that only happens because Adam always seems to have a 'group' consciousness about him rather than only focussing on his own direct performance. I should think that is extraordinarily valuable in any group or duet performance. One of these 'quiet' days, we should see how many of this sort of action we can isolate and document! Like your idea! Not so good at saving videos like I did in the early years…. but if someone remembers these three occasions, it would give some time to think about the when and where. Adam paused …waited for the right time —Brian was just finishing a solo part, then he immediately pulled Brian back from a huge smoke machine at the front of the thrust area on the stage. It would have blown upwards into his face. Brian was VERY appreciative. Adam guided Brian from tripping over cables on the stage floor. Adam pulled Brian backwards from a trap door that was about to open as he was totally engrossed in his guitar playing. The QAL Experience ….Adam’s voice ….well just gets betterer and betterer. Ok, anyone remember when we learned or coined the betterer phrase?🤪😄 Exactly! and there are lots of times of 'kindness' in duets....for one, the fellow with the awesome voice that he duetted with on AI...he built up his confidence and appearance with a top from his Trespassing tour and really upped the duet. I can think of a number of 'kind' or helpful times in this way as well as the ones you mentioned...and I was thinking of originally... |

Dancy, thank you very much for the excellent stream! It was so awesome to “be there” with all of you, lucky attendees! And of course thank you for the recording, I downloaded. Selfishly, I hope you go to more shows! I have tickets for the next 7 shows! However, I have never been able to get the stream to work at the O2. I think they block the signal. OOOOH!! I am so envious! and so happy you are going and we are getting the benefits! Thank you Dancy...  |
