tkradio toby knapp @adamlambert's label, @rcapromo is ramping up the 'promoganda' to US radio for BTIKM! Thought you might like a look: bit.ly/u7eKdWDec 19 Monday, December 19, 2011 ADAM LAMBERT: RCA's Pitch To Radio, Impacting US 1/30/2012THE ADAM LAMBERT pitch machine is on full blast! His label, RCA, is working radio with BETTER THAN I KNOW MYSELF, and they're hyping even more about the new CD, too! Take a look at the list of super talent and producers Lambert's been working with, above! The label is impacting his song 1/30. The feeling the label has is that since BTIKM is a mid-tempo song, it will cut through the clutter of overproduced club banging uptempo wall-of-sound music which currently dominates the pop landscape. Additionally, the label is working the song to POP and ADULT POP formats, meaning they're going for airplay on stations which target people - specifically females - ages 12 to 54. The message: Adam Lambert is mainstream. And if this project does what it looks like it could do, it could have the same impact on pop that Lady Gaga has had. Tall order, but entirely possible. Especially if the music is amazing.

Track Review: Adam Lambert, 'Better Than I Know Myself'ADAM LAMBERT "Better Than I Know Myself" (3:36) Producers: Dr. Luke, Cirkut and Ammo Writers: Lukasz Gottwald, Joshua Coleman, Claude Kelly and Henry Walter Publishers: Kasz Money Publishing/Each Note Counts/Prescription Songs/ Traintracks Studio/Prescription Songs (ASCAP) Music/Warner-Tamerlane Publishing Corp. (BMI) RCA Records/19 Entertainment "Better Than I Know Myself" the first single from Adam Lambert's forthcoming sophomore album "Trespassing," attempts to replicate the winning pop-rock formula of the singer's breakout single, "Whataya Want From Me." That song, from the former "American Idol" finalist's 2009 debut "For Your Entertainment," included an unstoppable hook and an unflinching vocal performance to serve as its foundation. While "Better Than I Know Myself" is not as immediately overpowering, repeated listenings amplify the untamed vulnerability that has become Lambert's defining asset. Producers Dr. Luke, Cirkut and Ammo provide a ground-swelling chorus, but Lambert shines in the intimate verses, singing, "I can be obnoxious at times/But try and see my heart" before the final climax. Like any talented pop artist, Lambert understands subtle reflection as well as epic bombast.

(Quoting about album only) Pressparty Pressparty Don't crash us again, Glamberts!!! Here goes everyone! pressparty.com29 seconds ago Adam Lambert talks to PresspartyAdam Lambert, the winner of Pressparty’s King and Queen of 2012 poll, recently took time out before the start of his intensive promotional schedule for his upcoming album, 'Trespassing', to talk exclusively with us about the progression of his career, the representation of the LGBT community in both modern America and the entertainment industry, and about the emotional depths he went to for his new record. Here’s what he had to say: You’ve revealed that your forthcoming new album, ‘Trespassing’, is very personal. Has anything triggered your desire to be more personal on this record? Your track ‘Outlaws of Love’ is about gay marriage, has falling in love and finding your soul-mate influenced your songwriting in any way? I think having experienced the journey of releasing my debut and touring the world gave me more insight into the artist I have grown into and who my incredible fans are. For 'Trespassing', I felt I was ready to write music from my experiences and give a very honest emotional portrayal of my desires and fears. Both dark and light. While exploring these themes I realized how universal my topics were. I think part of the beauty of song is how they connect people. Whether they're dancing or crying, the best songs resonate with the masses. I wrote 'Outlaws' about the many challenges the gay community faces and how hopeless it sometimes makes me feel. After I shared it with friends, it became clear that the lyrics could be interpreted in so many ways. I later visualized it underscoring scenes from 'Bonnie and Clyde', 'Twilight', 'Milk' or even 'The Color Purple'. Adversity has many faces. My intention is that the tracks on 'Trespassing' strike a chord with all walks of life. ‘Trespassing’ has an incredibly talented and dynamic team behind it (Dr. Luke, Pharrell Williams and songwriter Bonnie McKee). What were they like to work with? Pharrell Williams has to be one of the coolest people I've ever met. For the first five minutes I felt like such an unworthy dork. But that was all on me - he didn't act like he was 'the' Pharrell. He was simply ready to create a killer track. We connected intellectually and found common ground in our philosophies. He really pushed me to be my bravest and brashest. I felt privileged to be working with someone who I'm such a fan of. Bonnie is so talented, she dares to keep one foot in mainstream consciousness and one firmly planted outside the box. This is what makes her brilliant. Her melodic references are quirky and ironic, and her lyrics are so clever. We had so much fun writing together. Dr. Luke has the special sauce. He has this unmatched gift for ear candy. He's the reason why you can hear a song on the radio a zillion times and hear something new in it each time, and yet you can hum the hook after the first listen.

byroncooke.com/6newtracks/Y’ALL READY FOR THIS???!!!! 6 NEW ADAM LAMBERT TRACKS!Ive just come out of an exclusive Adam Lambert listening session in Los Angeles and can reveal track titles & details on not 1, not 2…but SIX brand new Adam Lambert tracks from his forthcoming new album “Trespassing” in-stores March 20th. A HUGE thanks to Adam & his team [JoAnn & Leah] for giving me the opportunity to listen to some ROUGH mixes of the tracks. This stuff is so hot it’s not even finished! The guys are ok with me sharing some info with you, so here goes! 1 ] TRESPASSING : The title track [written by Adam & Pharrell Williams] is BANGIN! Really feelin that “We Will Rock You” inspired opening rhythm, the bass lines got an “Another One Bites The Dust” feel to it and theres a really cool guitar hook. Best line has gotta be “Wait till ya get a load of me”. Theres a breakdown part near the end just straight Adam vox and drums..no bass. Sick. 2] COOKOO : Ollie Gee, Bonnie McGee & Adam co wrote this. Bonnies previous credits include several Katy Perry hits. Cookoo is another one for the hit list! Wont give too much away on this one! Wait till ya hear it! Definately a party jam. 3] BROKEN ENGLISH : An anthemic, slower tempo track co written with Adam by Lester Mendez [Enrique, Shakira, Nelly Furtado, Dido]. A beautiful love song which might just possibly be autobiographical. “I know you will understand I gotta tell you somehow”. Like say you had a partner whos 1st language wasnt English….you might encounter this situation! Quite haunting in parts & some fat beats ..an amazing song. 4] UNDERNEATH : Another track from Adam’s “darker side” and definately one of the stand outs. Its stripped back basically to piano and vocals & REALLY lets Adams vocal shine…at least in the rough mix I was played. You got to remember these tracks are SO new they arent even finished yet! 5] KICKIN IN : Damn it got this white boy movin! [dont worry I wont show you my moves] Written by Pharrell, its a club banger and for mine…a HIT! “She puts the shot glass down, she asks for another round, girl dont u hit the ground, is it kickin in”. Funky shit. 6] CHOKEHOLD : Adam didnt play me the song but went out of his way to tell me about it at lunch. Hes really excited for people to hear it when its ready. Says its got a 90′s Depeche Mode feel to it…I say bring it on! Follow me on twitter [@byroncooke] for all the details on when you can hear & see todays interview with Adam Lambert. You’ll hear more on the meaning behind these songs from the man himself and [surprise surprise] we managed to have some fun as well….mainly at my expense!
