I have to laugh at myself🤣. I was looking at the video of Adam’s group entering the car. Nadege, his bodyguard, was getting in and I thought…golly …SHE’s the one driving?🤨. (Do they anticipate a car chase.) I forgot that in the UK drivers sit on the opposite side of a vehicle to my country. Duh!
Oliver made it safe and sound. An extended stay is a definite possibility with gigs being so close in timing and proximity.
That striped overshirt/sweatshirt Adam was wearing caught my attention. Has that been in his closet for a looooong time?
I thought it was very sweet of Shoshanna’s kids to congratulate “their mom” after the Palace performance!

And on a side but totally unexpected note, The Queen and I have the same china pattern!!! When I saw the latter part of this video on twitter yesterday (the full video hadn't aired in the US yet) I couldn't believe it and spent an hour digging around in a storage closet just to prove it to myself. I mean really, who besides the Queen uses their fancy china regularly. Of course this is probably her everyday china and she uses it like I use Corelle. This video shows it much better; Royal Doulton - Canton. Yesterday was a delightfully fun birthday! LOL I recognized that china pattern too. It reminds me a bit of my Mom's Ming Rose china. And I did wonder if it really was the china that the Queen uses or just props for the skit. It wouldn't surprise me if the Queen has her very own bespoke china. Of course, she probably has china for all sorts of occasions. |
