Gotta agree - whoever curated the party was clearly not a fan of UK performers.

I have to admit I'm intrigued about Fairyland. Yes, by all indications it is a substantial role, which must have been such a thrill for Adam - and the subject matter has to resonate with him as well. I am, however, a bit confused about his role. Charlie, at least as described in the book excerpts that were reproduced here, wouldn't seem like obvious casting for Adam. Steve Abbott described his typical boyfriends, apparently including Charlie, as "younger and less powerful" than he. It sounded to me like Charlie was quite young - certainly not anywhere near 40. Makeup and styling can make a difference, but at least so far I'm having a problem wrapping my head around that casting. I still need to read the book, so maybe that will clear things up a bit. It would also be interesting to know who's playing Steve Abbott; at least so far, I haven't seen any indication of the identity of that actor. I assume there's a reason for that, but I don't know what it could be! But in any case, this project sounds like a real step forward as far as casting for Adam. I wish him all the best with it! Charlie was also described as tall and skinny with scraggly layers of dirty blond hair. Doesn't match Adam either. But like many movies that are not about well known people, it probably will not matter much. Even when it is about well known people, they often cast as they want. Diana Ross playing Billie Holiday comes to mind. No resemblance to Billie but she was fantastic. And we don't even know how large Adam's part really is. When was there the time to film for a major role? They billed Adam as major star of RHPS in many publications but his part was small but impressive. And I loved all of the publicity he got from it small part of not, lol.

My guess would be Cody Fern, who is mentioned in the articles about the film. Cody Fern
