At 2pm today I received from my friend a text asking would you like to see Queen with me tonight. I am a huge Queen fan and have been from the day I first heard Fat Bottom Girls. I never saw Queen with Freddie and in all honesty I had been reluctant to watch them without Freddie. But I love my friend dearly and anytime spent with him is always a pleasure.
I can honestly say that tonight I watched the greatest live concert I have ever seen. I’ve never cried at a concert but tonight I cried 3 times.
Adam Lambert is undoubtedly one of the greatest singers in the world. I have a lot of experience of working with singers, I know the difference between good, bad, average and great, and what I saw tonight was beyond great. It was breathtaking.
To my dear friend Andy Copping I am forever in your debt. I can’t even begin to imagine what my life would of been like without you in it! |
