It seems the skirts are becoming more “in”. I saw three men in skirts just in one day - one in the park walking his dog, looked like a fatigue fabric kilt; then a young man in a very long pleaded black skirt with heavy boots just on the street; and then the third one the same day but his was just below knees length with sandals. So ya, Adam is on the fore front of fashion, man skirts are coming! Lol Just one sighting for me yesterday at the store - looked like work from home dad.

I LOVED reading Rolling Stone's article about Idol. They really gave Adam his well-deserved due. Adam changed that show forever and there have been no other contestants who have even come close. Thanks RS!
Getting used to the kilt thing, but could still use a bit more skin from Adam. I'll bet anything he's toned up a bit from all the recent performing. Noe on to Birmingham! This tour is pure joy.

It also gave us a buttload of Justin Guarinis; Bo Bice, who briefly took over as lead singer for Blood, Sweat, and Tears; and Adam Lambert, now lead singer for Queen."
I agree RS mostly gave Adam his due. But am I misunderstanding this part? Adam is not one of the stars but lumped in with Guarini and Bice? Does not compute, lol.

I'm going to chalk it up to bad sentence construction since everywhere else in this article, when Adam is mentioned; it is glowingly. Hell, the next sentence after that sentence is the author talking about Adam opening the Platinum Jubilee at Buckingham Palace and there is no universe where that equates with Justin Guarini. The guy was just having a bad semi-colon day.

They mentioned Bo Rice briefly fronting BS&T and then tacked on Adam as Queen's frontman. The two things are barely comparable. I think they gave Adam major props in the article and made it clear they feel he is above and beyond in every way.

First of all, the semicolons are weird, but they are meant to allow the commas in the Bo Bice section to exist. Basically they try to say this: A bunch of nobodies became starts (list included). Then there were some mediocre guys like Justin G., Bo Bice was good and did something cool by becoming a short time singer for BS&T, and then there is AFL who fronts Queen. It is a poor attempt at gradation, from the mediocre through the good to the awesome. At least that's how I read it...

Works for me.
The curve of his gradation line was a little exponential but correct.
