Joey's collaboration with FSF This shirt pattern is so cute I am mediately went to buy it yesterday. And then I went to PayPal and already to click go…. and shipping is $21 for me. And that is USD funds when I live in Canada so add 25% to that. No I’m sure I’ll get over it and end up buying it but dammit I wish they could control the shipping cost. But more than that, I really wish they would create a shirt like this designed for women. I find it so insulting when people insist on calling something that is clearly a men’s shirt… Unisex. Seriously! Are we so stupid that we believe and go for that all the time? Even most gay man wouldn’t wear that shirt if it was a women’s shape, so because the women don’t have put a fuss…they get little to no accommodation . And this is from a queer community. If they can only see their gender concerns and don’t give a shit about the vast majority of Adam fans in particular that are straight women, then we women don’t have a chance of ever being considered important. As I said, I will likely end up buying it because I really like the shirt pattern, and I really love to support Adam but I’m really getting tired of our demographic being taken for granted all the time…even though I am pretty sure we are the majority actually purchasing these shirts

About the title of this thread: I keep wondering, if QAL really has 2 nights off? According to the calendar in the opening post it’s only 1 night. Today is traveling day to Birmingham.

They don’t… Is their usual one day off and I’m not sure why it got title that way. Lol someone counting on my fingers backwards
ETA just have to apologize for the funky words and misspellings every so often! I am reclining with my iPad and just too lazy to try typing things in on those silly little pad, so I use the microphone. The microphone is notoriously bad at getting words right. And I’m lazy… I confess. :-)

Mszue, not sure what a woman's shirt would look like, compared to unisex? I'm so used to shirts not fitting anyway, since I'm a "bit" top heavy lol, so I don't usually even think about it. I haven't been in an actual store for quite some time, but even there shirts all look the same. I've just gotten used to not being able to find an easy fit, as most clothing seems to be made in countries where the women aren't big chested lol.
I looked at the shirt because I really like the colorful print, but I'd have to get a 2 or 3x in order to fit comfortably (hate tight clothing).
You'd think somebody out there could account for curves.

Can't believe I am saying this as I am generally a fan of less bling, especially of eye-makeup jewels and blinged out 9 inch platform boots... but the plain suit coat with the sparkly shirt and kilt is an odd choice. Reminds me of Barnard 68, this photo of a dark interstellar cloud. Something just seems to be missing :D No argument from me. But I am still mourning the previous QAL tour styles and looks and the Velvet era stunning looks, lol. They stood out but less costume like (I didn't enjoy many of TOH outfits either) and makeup was fine and you took notice. But the hair and clothing styles seem different and makeup more OTT with Vegas and now. However, they are putting on a fantastic show. So happy they are back. And I agree with mszue, I think they sometimes forget or ignore that the majority of Adam's fans are straight women. But I still support Adam's foundation with money even if I don't buy the merchandise.

The people on Adam’s side right in front of him at the barrier at the QAL concert on monday had almost all been male. A lot of visibly queer people were among them. And they all cheered him up and must have looked for that space on purpose. At least my neighbors and the Drag Queens did. I didn’t talk to the rest. From what I‘ve noticed at Adam’s concerts in the last couple of years, his fandom keeps changing, with especially many more male fans coming in.

lurleene - I kind of gave up on style in general when the dark beard became permanent, lol. I hope to one day see him clean-shaven again and be able to say 'please Adam bring back the beard, it suits you!' I actually like most of this tour's costumes. The opening number top hat ultra shiny massive bellbottom racing stripe suit will probably be one that goes down in history. It is also conveniently the only costume where the 12 inch (hidden) platform boots make sense since it gives his whole body an elongated anime feel. Very modern.
