I think Adam had an exclusive private performance in Italy a few years ago, and was requested to sing this
song. It didn't sound like today. Correct me if I am wrong.

I’ve watched “The Show Must Go On” on Netflix at least 10 (err..20) times, and I think it was Taylor Hawkins RIP who said , “when you’ve got a Lamborghini in the garage, you want to drive it!” I bet it feels sooo good to Adam to let the beast of a voice within him out to play. He certainly can “sing his feelings” in any language! That was remarkable in every way.
Since Kelly Clarkson is doing a Kellyoke album, wouldn’t it be wonderful if Adam followed suit displaying the “Colors of His Voice” album where he includes this and as Cassie always wants—some showtunes, his Bob Marley, his George Michael, etc. What a treat that would be! Maybe they could be rainbow colors (with a photo of him with the flag) to raise money for his Feel Something foundation? Marketing people, please lend an ear!

I'm sure that Adam has had a vocal coach as long as he was able to afford one during his career. Including after American Idol. With that vocal talent, you don't stop taking coaching at age 21. Those coaches would hear how a voice is developing and work with the vocalist to find the potential.
And sometimes, a change in coach will lead to different explorations. I know of singers who were put into the alto category, and then when going into college, or trying for Broadway, were told they were not alto but mezzo-soprano.

That performance was interesting but not impressive to my ear… but it was a tiny venue with just a few guests. tonight was on a totally different level. |
