Translated from Portuguese LET'S TALK? With the return of the "Rhapsody Tour", we have been posting photos, videos and moments of this incredible show daily, which obviously puts the band's lead singer in the “Queen + Adam Lambert” Project in evidence. With the return of the "Rhapsody Tour", we have been posting photos, videos and moments of this incredible show daily, which obviously puts the band's lead singer in the “Queen + Adam Lambert” Project in evidence. With that, we have seen the most varied reactions and comments, which is perfectly normal. It happens that some fans who don't like this line-up - and/or have other singers of their choice to take the place of the irreplaceable Freddie Mercury - are "losing their hand" when commenting on certain posts. We are in a democracy - so "criticism" of the current singer is accepted, as long as there is no offense. The use of caricature or profanity, pejorative adjectives, ridicule of their appearance or their attire, veiled homophobia or not, and even any type of offensive comment to the person, talent or character, not only of the vocalist, but also of the other band members, will not be tolerated by us – even because they are against the rules of the social networks themselves. As an example, we highlight the 2 posts below, with the numbers we received from Facebook. Interestingly, the post on the left about Freddie Mercury has less engagement than Brian's post with Adam, with a flag of the LGBTQIAP+ community (this flag the singer received from a fan during the show - not that it makes a difference, because so much he and the band are free to use whatever they want on stage). The engagement in the aforementioned photo was followed by several offensive comments, both in relation to the vocalist, the band and the community that the flag represents. It is worth remembering not only that homophobia is a crime, but also that our social networks do not support anything. We simply support the freedom of expression of the band and any artist. And, for those who insist on saying that Freddie Mercury did not raise any flags, we remember that times were different and there was a lot of intolerance at the time. Freddie expressed himself through his costumes (glam in the 70s and later with jeans, jacket and mustache from the 80s onwards). We even have a very interesting post in our Facebook group about the meaning of his costume from the 80s – the Hanky Code (the Scarf Code). Therefore, we would like to reinforce that we will no longer accept any manifestation that lacks respect for the artist and the band. To the others, we just say that we will continue with our work to bring the best of the band to all of you who accompany us.
