Oliver seems to be going for a school girl look and he does a great job of it, the more interesting question to me is what look is Adam going for lately?  While I have not loved Adam's looks in some time (except for Starstruck where his outfits were stunning). If as a 40 year old grown man, he went for a "school girl" or "teen girl" look I think it would break my heart, lol. Makes me wonder if Adam’s attraction to the schoolgirl look means his relationships will have built-in obsolescence….will Oliver be as cute dressed as a schoolgirl in ten years time? Will a partner of Adam be ‘allowed’ to grow older? More current photos of Sauli, as a handsome mature man, make him far too old for Adam’s taste now. My theory on Adam’s style is that he doesn’t feel sexy these days…(though perhaps the last week or so has seen a change starting there). He is going for odd and fearless and covered to compensate for not looking as he once did. And the more ‘out there’ he looks, the fewer direct comparisons can be drawn. |

I think Adam is going for the “I’m 40 and I want to be comfortable on my days off,” look. While fashion has always had a front row seat in Adam’s life, and I’m sure the matching floral shorts /top leisure outfit is made with exceptional and probably pricey material, it seems with the caftan look he wore the other day, he feels confident in his relationship and his career to opt for comfort sometimes—when he’s off-stage. Just my uninformed take on things.

Just my uninformed take on things. Plus southern Europe is going through a record breaking heat wave. A very good reason to wear clothing that is light & airy. |

You know . . . Adam is a healthy, happy forty-something now.
For the time being, at least, he's no longer in the 'Baby, I'm on the hunt' mode. He has his love.
That's my take.
I've had to question myself a little. I've always said I'm here for the voice, first, foremost. Looks and sex appeal are secondary.
Well, he will always be beautiful. Just as he is maturing, so am I. It's a continuum and an evolution.
One thing wanes; the other soars. The pendulum swings. Nessun Dorma came at the perfect time. I'm in ecstasy; for a different reason.

Adam is living is life as we all are living ours. Going rhrough all sorts of phases, getting older day by day. Adam is still a physically beautiful man. Just an older one. Look up a photo of any celebrity/singer who started out in their twenties and is still performing. Looks change, but talent and perseverance win out. I hope Adam has a long and prosperous career and a happy life. Getting older is a blessing, not a curse. |

ljsmack girldrummer . DancyGeorgia momtomany ( lurleene ) I’ve obviously missed something about Adam ageing!! It seems to be mentioned so often when it wasn’t a few years ago. I don’t think of him as ‘older’ as so many people mention here. Why the obsession with his age? 40 isn’t a cut off point to excuse anything and everything. 40 isn’t the reason Adam has put on weight and it isn’t the reason why he’s now losing it so successfully. It’s not the reason he wears an unflattering kilt or loose clothing in the heat. To me he is young and (should be) in his prime. He will get back there. Most men I know look better at 40 than 30 and if they keep their hair look very little different! I happen to think he is still a young beautiful man who hasn’t looked as great as he could in the last few years because of his style and lifestyle choices. Not the end of the world. These things he can change if he wants…and I think he wants, And he has said that life hadn’t been particularly happy for him in lockdown which can age people at any time of life. I love him and simply want him to feel good about himself - and I can see that almost daily, his weight loss, fitness and general air of enjoyment are flooding back in his performance and movement. He’s wearing more fitted clothing and moving and feeling sexy again after the hidden, unmoving, and yes, dull, Adam of Vegas for example. Even when I saw him on June 5 at the 02, his movements were few and laboured. Six weeks of refinding his waistline and being able to move and engage more have made me feel he is finding his whole self again. How happy he looks! Happier than in recent times. (And things hotting up with Oliver will surely be helping) Let’s not make him into an old man when clearly he’s not ready for that yet.
