In response to some of the stuff that has been talked about this morning, I was reading up a few months back about single selection, and this is what I learned: Probably once a week, the record company (RCA) holds a release meeting and talks about the songs that are coming up and when they will be released. The A&R (artists & repertoire) representatives who handle Adam's account make their pitches at this meeting. Others present at the meeting are people from the marketing and merchandising departments and someone from Adam’s management. Adam himself would not be at this meeting. High-level record company executives have life-and-death power over the decision. I'm sure Q3 and others know tons more about this than I do, but just wanted to throw in my two cents. Neither the artist nor his representatives choose the single; the record company does. Obviously I know nothing. What I do know is that Adam himself said that they wanted to release WWFM as a first single but he wanted something to surprise people etc etc. So he must have had some kind of power back then and they must have counted his decision. Now IMO has more power . Also again Adam himself said during an OUT interview - red carpet - that the morning of that day he was in a meeting and they got to choose the single. Just because there is a pattern, I don't think there's ALWAYS the same for every artist. JMHO. |

He just zoomed in and cropped the other pics. But I really love Just Jared! He's a good guy! Always is reasonable and respectful in his celeb coverage. Yeah, I know, but haven't seen it done before, don't know much about celeb news, but found it odd ( in a good way  ). I felt a twitch in my heart when I saw that somebody had cropped the picture to show only Sauli. He was so adorable that I think he deserved it in a way. It must have been hard for him to always shy away when paps emerge. Of course, it is about Adam, and so it should be, but to see some kind of recognition for him, too, was nice. It must have been about a year that he has been seen with Adam, sure, once in a while we have seen pictures of them together. This time it was like Sauli had been acknowledged as a permanent ficture in Adam's life. I don't expect this happening very often but somehow I felt so good about it. |

rabbitrabbitYou're right , I just wanted to say that Brooksy did meet Adam on his previous UK promo tour during March of 2010 and he did an interview with Adam back then, but I don't know how known or unknown he is. OK, I didn't know that he'd met Adam before. And yeah, only a U.K. person could really tell how well known he is. Not well known at all I should think...except to the listeners of his regional radio station . I do remember he met Adam back in 2010 though |

glitztripper Adam really is that GOOD and you're not crazy  sometimes I feel kind of nuts myself too... I consider myself to be a sensible adult and here I am flailing like a teenager, lol. But it's all good. Now lets just keep berting...  My friends and family can't understand at all my behaviour in this Adam-madness thing. "Your nuts!" they tell me quite often. I'm very happy that I find this site and realized It's normal to act like I do when you are totally in love with Adam. Thanks for peer support you all! ;D Honey, I think we can all attest to the fact that after almost 3 years, families get used to it. They can like it or not like it, but if you don’t tell them they can’t drool over soccer or skiing, they shouldn’t tell you you can’t drool over Adam. If things get too bad, lock your door and join our staff of (amateur) counselors. They’ll talk you off the ledge. *in case you need a translation- talk you off the ledge = make you feel normal |
